Pure Cotton Double Faced Check Shirt

Very much appreciate design and feel of garment. Elegant and perfect for me

I recently bought this shirt in my usual size however there is something drastically wrong with the design or cut of the item. From the chest down is fine but the shoulders and upper arms do not seem to be made to fit the normal human body! The shoulders are about three inches or more too wide so it looks as if I have epaulettes, it's far too tight under the armpit and around the upper arms and I don't have particularly big biceps and triceps. This is either a manufacturing fault or a design fault. I have never had any trouble with M&S sizing before but this isn't just a matter of size, as I say it is something to do with the cut or manufacturing.

Bought this last week, swapped it for a larger size because it was so tight across the top of the sleeves and chest but it's still a poor fit. The cut and setting in of the sleeves is wrong. I have had to put two pin tucks across the shoulders to make this shirt wearable as my husband wore it first to see if the fit improved (it didn't) and so we couldn't return it.

It is nice colour but the material is very thin hate to think what it will be like after it has been washed It creases and I would have returned it if not in lockdown. Not worth even the sale price which I paid for it Very disappointed with it
