I don't usually shop in Classic but walking past I happened to see this shirt and picked it up on impulse. Am so glad I did, impressed with the quality and fit, including the concealed buttons so that the placket doesn't gape. I'm relatively big chested and although I'm a 14 elsewhere I often have to take a 16 for a shirt or blouse so was delighted that the 14 fits very well. I agree with other reviews it is long but that's ok if you want to wear it outside things as I do or use it unbuttoned or partly buttoned as a light summer cover up. The embroidery is really nice too.

Great tunic

It seems ridiculous that I give this blouse top marks and then send it back. As I have mentioned before, just because it does not suit me doesn't mean it doesn't measure up in every way. A Beautiful 'tunic', very lovely material but for me just too long.

Good fit, good length and nice style. Washed well, just waiting to be ironed, but don't think it will be too fiddly to do. Smart or casual I'm sure I will get a lot of wear out of this one.

The blouse was lovely but, with everything now you do not cater for smaller people (petite range is next to nothing) the blouse fitted ok but miles too long. Always returning items which is not good.

Exactly what I wanted. I think that summer demands natural fibres - pure cottons/linens/silks. This dealt with the brief. Thank you. Mrs. M. A. Short.

too see- through

Attractive material but too see-through which means would have to wear cami underneath making it too hot on a hot day. Also a bit roomy below the bust i.e. not fitted. Otherwise attractive embroidery but had to return it.

Another see through shirt

It seemed like the ideal white, summer shirt which wouldn't need ironing. But the fabric is so see through it's unwearable. I had to take it back - such a shame. Please consider this problem when choosing a light weight white fabric.

This is a lightweight easy to wear blouse. I don’t often by blouses or shirts as quite often the sleeves don’t fit as I am a petite fitting and never get a great choice. However this shirts fits really well and with the 3/4 sleeve I don’t have a problem with the sleeves being too long.

Wanted a white shirt as a cover up in the sun but this was shapeless and far too thin a material so it didn't hang well. Returned it and bought the linen one which was much better quality and shape- even though I told myself I would not buy any more linen because of the ironing it needs.

I bought a size 14 and it was big for its size. The size 12 fits better so I think this Blouse tends to be a larger fit. Looks good with jeans.

'Crinkle' meant screwed up

I bought this online, so more 'crinkles' formed in the post. You can't iron this sort of fabric easily as everything gets flattened out. And I hadn't realised there are long sleeves which can be rolled up a bit and buttoned, it looked like 3/4 sleeves in the picture. So sorry, it's had to go back.

I love anything that is made of crinkle material and I needed a white shirt. The material is a little flimsy but I have just washed it and am waiting to see if the crinkle comes back when it is dry. The 3/4 sleeves do unroll to make full length if necessary but the cuffs are quite baggy, I bought a size 8 and it is a little on the big size.

I love this shirt and have just ordered 2 more as daily staples. I have washed it and it is wonderful to crinkle it to dry and not have to iron it (apart from the collar!). It fits well when crinkled as a comfortable 10. I like the embroidery, dobby material, hidden buttons and that it is cotton. Also the sleeves are full length when unfolded.

Disappointed

I agree with the reviewer who said this blouse does not look god after washing. The crinkle effect is no longer crisp and the material looks like it has been washed many times after only one wash. Twisting the blouse during drying does not give it the original look. Very disappointing.

Bought for my upcoming holiday. Chose the white and it looks great over light cami tops. Like the three quarter length sleeves plus the length of the blouse. Bought on a 20% Sparks deal. Very pleased.
