These are relaxed and on the wide side but not ridiculously so and still trendy for teenage son. Good length for 5”9 tall son with still enough length for the relaxed fit look. Adjustable waist means he can wear it without a belt. Not too heavy so don’t take ages to dry!

Love this style of jeans for my son. Now I know this style - barrel style suits his body shape. I am very happy. Love the fact the waist can be taken in by the elastic at the sides in the waist band which means a perfect fit. Best jeans ever, I will but a different colour, style size perfect

I’m 5’3 and always struggle to find jeans that truly fit, so discovering these barrel jeans has been such a win and much cheaper . The exact shape of jeans that I was looking for. The quality is excellent. The colour is perfect and the material is soft and yet substantial. As a 5'2 adult, M&S clothes are amazing. The quality is so good and the childrens clothes fit perfectly for someone slim and petite. These jeans tick all the boxes, a fashionable silhoute and i'd say the fit is equivalent to a size 8-10 short.
