Lovely rings but...........

A lovely set of rings, this is my 2nd purchase. However, despite taking the rings off before washing my hands, the coating started to come off the rings within 2-3wks of wearing them. Wearing gloves, which led to warm hands left me with a green ring around my finger when I took the rings off. This is such a shame, as the rings are lovely. M&S, please tell your supplier to invest in a more durable coating. I would expect more than 2-3wks of daily wear before having to replace.

I've had a number of rings from M&S and had until recently been quite pleased with them, These were nice looking but within 2 days the larger stone had fallen out and was lost. I had a refund.

I got these rings as my rings were in to be resized and was going out. They are lovely rings and didn't look cheap

Very Disappointed

These caught my eye as they looked pretty and were great value for money. However, within a week I could see the 'platinum plate' was wearing off both rings to reveal a copper/gold colour underneath The rings also left my finger black which was hard to wash off once I removed them. I always removed the rings to wash my hands. I also feel that, although the band was thinner on the opposite side to the crystals, it was wearing and becoming even thinner. I returned the rings to the store where I bought them and had no trouble receiving a refund. I doubt I will buy similar M&S jewellery again after this, especially earrings as my ears will suffer if the same thing happens! I have bought other ranges of jewellery from other collections and been very happy so not entirely put off. But the 'Platinum Collection'? No never again. Especially having seen some of the above comments from people who clearly had the same problem.

I love these 2 rings. They are very delicate looking but look like the real thing! I am delighted with them and as usual M&S jewellery doesn’t disappoint.

Loved it, but plating has all rubbed off

I loved this set, bought to replace my too small wedding ring, and out of date gold diamond ring. I didn’t care that they weren’t real diamonds to be honest at all, I was really pleased to have something up to date and affordable. Unfortunately all the playing has worn off. I am going t9 try a silver plating solution, to see if that can restore it slightly. Some of us can longer afford the real thing. So it was nice while it lasted.

Lovely design but the coating is rubbing off

I have only had this ring set a week and the platinum plating is already rubbing off. Obviously its a cheap and cheerful set of rings and you don't expect them to look perfect forever but I am pretty disappointed that in one week of on and off wear, they are already looking spoiled. I love the style but the quality is just too poor to recommend which is a real shame. Value for money would have been excellent if not for the quality issue. Fit is good, they only come in S, M, L etc so for me the small is just a bit too tight so I got the medium which is just a little too big but not so big as to have them fall off.

Not the quality I expect from M&S

Now I'm the first to admit that it was cheap, but even so, I expect decent quality from you. I bought the small size, which was enormous (I have small hands) on me but stayed on with another ring over the top. However, within 2-3 days of purchase, three of the stones from the band had fallen out; and 2-3 weeks after purchase, I can see that the plating is starting to erode from the solitaire (although all the stones have stayed put). I just expected it to last a little longer. I will think twice about buying any more jewellery from M&S now.

I went to a jewellers and was measured as an O fitting, so I initially bought the medium size, having researched online the mm diameter of an O ring size. I had to return the medium and buy the large however as the rings were too small. Other than that the purchase has been nothing but joy to me as I can't wear my real blessed wedding rings due to pregnancy and baby weight! A good buy to set you up to sparkle once more.

Just stunning! Two beautiful rings that can easily be mistaken for 'the real thing'. The stones are impeccable, the style is not over the top, just gorgeous!

When I bought this set I thought they looked really stylish. After a couple of wears they vegas to tarnish. Now the quality is terrible. Pity

I'm wearing these at the moment in place of my real wedding and engagement rings as my fingers are temporarily swollen following an accident. The rings are very attractive and so far are still looking good though I'm being careful not to wear them when washing up, etc.

Like the design but I've only had this ring about the month and already three stones have fallen out. Just as well they weren't real diamonds! Certainly wouldn't recommend as I felt this was really too much money to pay for something that lasts only a month.

I love these rings. They are my third set that I'm using as engagement and wedding rings as mine don't fit. The only thing is that they become brassy looking quite quickly as they are only platinum plated. Otherwise they look great and fit perfectly.

I bought this set in February and by April the ring with the single stone had tarnished badly on the sides and clasps holding the stone in. I always removed them when washing my hands etc. I will say customer service was good as soon as she saw the ring there was no quibble in refunding my money.
