Non-matching!
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
I bought two of these to match an existing one, I was going to keep one as a spare. Unfortunately the two new ones did not match each other - one matched the older one I have but the other was a completely different feel, colour and weave so I had to return it. I suspect they were made by different suppliers. It had been out of stock for a while so I must have got one from the old stock and one from the new.The difference between them was very obvious to me so I am surprised the packer did not notice it.

Chenieele throws

I was disappointed as both the throws were so badly creased when received that they didn’t drop out. Although the label said do not iron I had to with a cloth on top so they didn’ t Look as though someone had been sleeping in them and left them in a screwed up ball. They are improved now and the throws are what I wanted but I was very disappointed with their state on receipt

This is the second order I have placed for this throw for my sofa. I have a dog so use a throw to protect the sofa as well as looking good. Most throws pull too easily with dogs claws, these don't and neither do they look like a blanket. I washed my last one weekly and it lasted over 12 months. Excellent value for money.

Great Colour & Weight

Ordered two of these throws for our sofa. The colour and weight is lovely. The only negative is the amount of creases when they are unpackaged and according to the label they shouldn't be ironed! I took a chance and ironed them on a cool setting and most of the creases have come out. Unfortunately if I hadn't tried to iron them they would have been returned as in their delivered state they would have been unusable.

I was expecting a gold colour throw but it was more like a dirty beige. Photo very misleading

I bought this for my recently acquired caravan as a throw for the couch. It looks great and matches colours in the seat covers. Very pleased

Disappointed

I have had previous throws from this range and have been pleased with them. However, the one that I have just received isn't a patch on the previous quality and certainly not worth the money. It is very poor quality, thin and looks cheap. If I hadn't needed it for weekend guests, I would definitely have returned it. This is not the quality I expect from Marks and Spencer.

Quality not as good as previous throws but a much better size for my needs. Reasonable value for money .

I bought two of these to replace the same ones I have had before. The colour is exactly the same and that’s about it. Unfortunately the quality is not there. Quite rough to touch, thin fabric and after a week clicks have appeared. The previous ones were beautiful and lasted a couple of years don’t think these will last at all. Cannot recommend as feel quality has been sacrificed in favour of keeping the price down.

I am really pleased with my new chenille throw. The colour is just right with my other furnishings etc. It will be very cosy when the weather is colder!

Wasn't quite the colour as seen online, but never the less it did match with my sofa, looks lovely just over the arm of my sofa, then in the winter can use it to keep warm if it gets a bit chilly.

I am very disappointed in the 2 throws I purchased. They just keep shedding and creating dust everywhere, even after washing and tumble drying, even though you are not supposed to tumble dry. The fluff even clogged my Dyson cleaner.

I have bought a number of these throws in the past in other colours and been very pleased with them. The only reason I have only marked it a 3 is that the colour is a bit grungy. In normal times I would have returned it to store but will keep it this time. It would be good if Marks were to offer a wider range of colours again.

Lovely throw with a good weight to it. Got the one in sage as it was in M&S for £8.99 and it looked like a nice colour. I’m not disappointed as the price was excellent and so is the quality. Only purchased today so don’t know how it will wash.

Completely ruined after first wash

I had the throw over an armchair in the hall. It kept in a good condition until I washed it. I put it through a 30 degree delicate wash as I just wanted to freshen it up and it came out completely ruined. It was absolutely covered in pulls and I just binned it. Was so disappointed.
