Useful & stylish

I ordered 2 sizes for comparison, & have kept the larger size because in the cooler weather I'm sure I'll be glad of extra room for a thicker sweater. The only two things I personally am not too keen on are 1) the furry hood edging. No problem - just unzip it! 2) the gilt zips & fasteners. A bit "bling" but never mind. The jacket is good value for money, & it's good to have a jacket for the petite amongst us which has pockets etc. in the right places.

Great casual jacket

Very pleased with this jacket, it’s just what I need when out with my very young grandchildren and there are no spare hands for carrying a brolly when it rains. The fit is good and I like the fact that the hood is adjustable to fit any size head and has a detachable faux fur trim. The jacket is lightweight but is warm enough to wear on chilly days and is machine washable too!

Don't be put off by the word 'khaki' as it is a definite green, very nice for spring. The flaps above the pockets are useless and unwanted. The pockets would have been better if they were below those flaps however, rather than on an angle below, but at least the pockets have zips. A warm coat, and a good fit.

Looked and felt cheap

No, I don't recommend this
The fit of this coat was spot on but the fabric was horrible. It was shiny and slippy and the fur around the hood looked sparse. It's been rerurned!

I love the colour and style of the coat and the texture of the fur but why is the hood so ENORMOUS? It's meant to be petite but when I put up the hood it covers half my face. My grandsons think it's hilarious....Also the brassy gold coloured zip and toggles make it look cheaper than it was. However I have to keep it as, at the moment, I simply can't find a suitable petite winter coat. As a previous reviewer said 'Petites can't be choosers'. We have to accept what fits us...

Too Big

I found this coat too big had to order in a smaller size, nice coat but it's a shame that petite sizes have to be ordered on line and are not for sale in store.

The is a nice jacket with a good style and shape when you get the the right size. I am size 14 or 16 in M&S depending on what their designers and seamstresses decide ! So like many of us I have to order a few sizes to get it right, well the 16 petite I ordered eventually after trying the standard 14 and 16 actually transformed the look of this coat and went from being just ok ‘it will do’ to my husband actually thinking I had chosen a different coat altogether. Have received many compliments in the week I have been wearing it. Needed it mainly for a trip to France to cover all aspects of weather, can wear a light or heavy underneath and is great in that the coat isn’t bulky but provides a comfortable amount of warmth when needed. My only criticism is that the hood is not detachable.

I ordered this coat without being certain that it would suit me but I absolutely love it. I was pleased to see that the fur on the hood was detachable which it didn’t state on the description. Had it not been I would have returned it as I can’t imagine anything worse on a stormwear coat than wet fur dripping around my face. I ordered a size larger than my usual size and it will allow a thicker sweater to be worn on cold winter days.
