No, I don't recommend this
As per a review someone has made on the putty version of this item, the painted legs begin to show cracks shortly after purchase. These get worse over time. We have had numerous replacements, and each time an "inspector" has to visit to view the product, and each time they have confirmed that the issue is that the table top is solid wood, but the legs etc are MDF or similar. Since this material expands, contracts and generally flexes, this causes cracks in the paint. When replacements were delivered, the people building the replacement also agree this is likely to just keep occurring. The furniture referral team, previously extremely helpful, have now also gone very silent. We are unfortunately in limbo, and this table was the first piece of furniture on a new carpet. Replacing it for an alternative would thus leave indentations in the carpet unless identically sized. Pity, as this range of furniture does look really great. Am shocked the materials haven't been changed, or the product removed from sale.

Really pleased with my table. Had all the family round on Sunday for dinner so was able to make use of the extension. If I have a very tiny criticism it would be that I would have liked some care instructions with it so that I can keep it looking beautiful.
