Microwaveable Egg Poacher

This item does not work well at all. It doesn't cook evenly . The egg sticks to the poacher and it is quite difficult to clean.

What’s point of buying this? Something is missing to take the eggs out and drain the water easily, look at other products in the market. I’m so disappointed.

I have not been able to poach eggs with this contraption yet, despite following to the letter the instructions on the packaging. It may be that I need to try a few times with my microwave oven to find the perfect balance of power and cooking time, but for the time being I'm not impressed. It's a shame, as I was really looking forward to using this.

It looked nice but there its appeal ended. I followed the instructions carefully. Fiddly, finicky, this amount of water, this temperature. Stop. That temperature. Stop. Different temperature. Even more fiddling about. And eggs were hard! As to easy-clean - dishwasher couldn’t do it, I ended up scraping egg white off with fingernails. Have been satisfied M&S customer over 50 yrs so I guess I’ve been lucky, but this is a waste of money, time and effort. £5 may not be a lot but it’s a lot to waste and throw away even more plastic. .

Terrible item, top flew off while cooking, egg sticks to plastic. Used it once and binned it!

I'v tried this every which way but still hav'nt cracked it. Sadly when its cleaned up after my latest failure its heading for the bin. Save your money and give this a miss.

Does not have clips to hold down the cover that would stop the eggs if they pop when cooking blowing the top up and spreading some of the contents in the microwave. The internal design makes it difficult to clean or allow a clean spread of water or oil before putting the eggs inside to stop them sticking to the bottom.

Disappointed in this product. One egg overcooked while the other only half cooked. I've tried various settings and times but I would have been better to use my silicone poacher which gives much better results.

The instructions tell you to pierce the egg yolk. You end up with a rubbery egg rather than a gently poached one. Better off poaching in a saucepan.

I didn't keep it as there was no sleeve around it so no instructions

It does not work properly. The lid does not stay on top and the egg went everywhere. Would not recommend.

might as well use a cup with a tissue on top!
