Merinotec Base Layer Long Sleeve Top

Loved this item but it was out of stock in my size!

I have kept this top because it's a gorgeous colour and it's very fine but warm! However, I do agree with the earlier reviews that the shape is strange - it sort of sticks/flares out at the sides and is short in length. It is probably more suited to those with a shorter body and stouter frame - I am 179 cm height, with a long body - disappointing but decided to keep it, in my size.

It is a nice top - plus points washes well and lovely colour. Negative point is that the neck is really weird it's sort of loose around the shoulders as you can almost see on the model it has a loose bit on your chest area and consequently does not sit very well. Given that I will largely wear this for exercise I am not too bothered but if I bought this for day wear I would return.

I found this top kept me lovely and warm however found the top to quite short in the length of both the sleeves and in the body. I have purchased size 12’s in most of M&S’s other sports tops so was disappointed with the fit of this. The colour is beautiful though.

I was a little worried about reviews which said this garment came up small but I went ahead and ordered my usual size 12. It fits perfectly, given that a base layer should be fairly snug. I didn't want great long arms either but I find it easy to push the cuffs above me wrist if I don't want to use the thumb hole. This top is light as a feather but has kept me warm out walking in the snow and wind. Not too keen on the turquoise colour but the grey was out of stock. Will buy a second garment if M&S restocks.

This top is a poor fit-the body rides up during exercise, as do the sleeves so I end up with pointy bits of material sticking up at my shoulders. I wouldn’t buy this top again.

Sorry to say but the fit on the shoulder to sleeve isn’t right but.... I waited ages to order it and there’s none left so I have to have this one or not have one at all. I think it’s faulty but am keeping it as the colour is lovely & I particularly wanted Merino.

Light but warm running top great for over a vest top. Nice feeling material. Sizing quite small. Go up a size.

Love the colour and material of this top. It is quite slim fitting so if you want something of a relaxed fit I'd size up

This is the most odd shape, and very unflattering. I'm a size 10, bought a 12 so there would be a bit of room, and it was still plastered on me. The arms are a very odd shape. I think unless you're a stick, this top is not going to look good. Don't make the mistake I made, trust the reviews. There are so many other great tops in this range, but I was very disappointed in this one.

I have to send it back unfortunately because it is so baggy under the arms that it rubs.

Seemed like it would be warm. On the small size. Returned as a bit too see through
