Medium Oval Platter

This plate is perfect size to put the meat on when having a roast. However, I must have been unlucky, as my plate had a grove in the middle, which was obviously a fault. I bought in the sale, so I am keeping it.... won't notice when covered with delicious roast lamb!!

I like the shape and size with reasonable price. And their quality was great as well.

Bought this to replace one that was chipped (not an M and S one). Just the right size for what I wanted and seems to be robust although I’m planning to treat it more gently than the last one !

I bought this to match the white dinner plates previously bought from M&S. To give an indication of size, it will take a medium size chicken. Some reviewers said they would use this platter as a dinner plate, and I agree that this would make an ideal Christmas dinner plate. The platter was packaged well and therefore arrived undamaged. Thank you M&S.

I bought six to use for family dinners, they are slightly larger than a conventional round dinner plate, ideal for a hungry family. Great heavy quality items, hopefully they’ll last as long as my other M&S plates (35 years!) Plain white blends well with my existing tableware. Nice shape to use as serving plates for buffets etc.

Bought four platters and collected in local store. Despite the fragile sticker, all four items were completely smashed when unpacked. Packing was quite poor... and packed in large box so bound to move around in transit. Shame as seemed nice quality for the price.
