Appalling

Purchased a size 16. Measured 16” across the chest, and that was with the fabric stretched!! How many size 16’s have a 32” chest? No wonder it was in the sale

I purchased this to work under sheer and tighter dresses. Though I like the shape of the neck and back I, like other reviewers, feel that the fit is not quite right, particularly around the hem which is quite restrictive. I have also found that the side fabric is much too thin, I have made a hole in the side just from needing to pull the slip down. I have also noticed that after one (delicate) wash, the band on the hem has come away from the body of the slip. I wish that I had returned this before washing as it is almost unwearable now.

I ordered this slip as my other one had seen better days, but has had lots of wear. It’s very small fitting and thin material at the sides. Even at the sale price of £18 wasn’t worth it. Had to return, wish I could get one the same quality and fit as the last one I purchased from M&S a few years ago.

Beautiful lacy slip

This is a very tight fitting garment so, although I'm a 12/14 and bought a 14, it was too tight.

Too small and too tight!

I am a usual size 12/14 so having read the reviews went larger to 16 and it was just too tight and restraining.

Good control but had to buy larger size to fit

I have returned this as too narrow on thighs. I even bought a size 20 but width at hem is far too tight!

Bought this in my size and its a good fit. Very tight and offers the smoothing control i wanted for under an expensive, tight fitting sweater dress.

Lovely garment but just not true to size at all

The material feels great against the skin and the controlling panel in the centre seems to be of good quality but the sizing!! I'm a size 10 and having read the reviews (and I buy M&S Magicwear Knickers & Thigh Shapers so know the need to up size) I ordered a size 14. It was way too small so reluctantly had to return it. I have ticked I would recommend this product but only on the proviso you order 3 sizes up!!

I bought this Medium Control Wear, tried it on. It was difficult to put on, too tight, sizing is incorrect then it tore on the right hand side. I am so disappointed and upset to say the least. As you see from the picture

I bought this with discount thinking s the slips I have had many Tim’s before. It was a different style, pretty but much tighter than the original style. I couldn’t T even begin to get in on. I would have needed larger size

I bought this to wear underneath dresses, unfortunately the material at the sides is very thin, I out it on and have sadly put a small hole in it causing the fabric to ladder. I was hoping the material would be of better quality than that......

Is medium strong enough?

I've tried another brand in firm and this medium suit's me better. A good point is that it doesn't need fastening with poppers under the crutch which certainly in my case would at present be difficult to see and have be done by touch only! My excess body weight in this area is although less now it unfortunately follows a health problem and is not easily manageable.

Wonderful but at least two sizes too small

I made at least two orders going up a size each time before I tried on a size that fitted. I needed a size 16 for my 32D, less than 9st petite 5ft 2inch frame. Eventually ordered size 16 and it’s a lovely fit !! All this was made possible because of M&S generous delivery and free return labels at this time. Thank you I am now very pleased with my purchase.
