Forget Spanx (tm)

Finding something to wear under my wedding dress has been a nightmare. Having a larger chest but having opted for a backless dress, I’ve been on the hunt for backless bras or low back bodies. Last week I bought a pair of £134 Spanx in desperation, however there is no option for cup size and when the item arrived I knew I’d be at risk of a nip slip all night. This one is perfect! Just arrived, cups fit perfectly! Straps may not be the most comfortable but nothing unusually for a clear strap - I may even by a nude paid of straps if I decide it’s an issue. Saving myself £100 and the fear of exposing myself (priceless)

Lovely material and felt nice so I was excited to put it on. At the side of the bust it just hung there....big bulging bits at the side. Basically no fit at all.

The main body part fit beautifully but the bra was huge and strangely shaped. Had to be returned

Sent for this one as possibly the best of the few on offer but the fit is poor. The cups do not come far enough back so the sides of the bust is exposed. Nothing to do with my size or shape just poor design. Returned.

I needed a strapless/backless bra. Tried stick on ones they went back so this was my alternative. My wedding dress has a very low back. This one is not true to size had to get 4 cup sizes smaller than I measure. Also the straps are very short. I don't have a long body but I had to have them at there longest length. So no good for someone with a long body. The straps also seem lose where they hook on to the bra. Not worn it yet but fingers crossed the straps stay hooked in place. I may try sew the hooks in place to be on the safe side.

Pretty to look at but unfortunately the fit was disappointing, the support was poor, sagged at the side and the body was just too short. The style was so perfect for a low back dress I wanted to wear to a formal function but sadly had to change my outfit.

Not a bad fit but would be better if the straps were not for multi use, as when wearing normally it gaped at sides of bra, better fit when used as halter neck! Body length was good for me as am short waisted. Not a massive fan of plastic straps but obviously good if they are on show!

This could have been perfect!

I have a backless dress that I am wearing to a wedding and this would have been a perfect fit. The actual body was great and low enough at the back that it didn't show under the dress. However, the bra part of the dress did not fit properly at all. It was all saggy and even with the stops, it did not fit well. You could tell that I had an ill fitting bra under the dress. It is disappointing because this would have been perfect - even the price point was right!

I bought this shape wear for under a thin shirt dress. Once on it done the job of holding my tummy in however, the body is way to short making it really hard to button under the legs and once on is really uncomfortable to wear. The plastic straps are not long enough and are too flimsy to hold up, making them pop off. Definitely would not recommend, cheaper alternatives available in other high street stores which do a much better job.

The body looked good but the style cannot work as it's such a low back there is no support and the front just falls forward The Same fabric and style with a higher back could work well

I was hoping to love this but unfortunately the fit was totally wrong. I ordered a size up from my usual bra size, but unfortunately the 'body' size didn't match. I'm a regular size 16, but this felt like it was made for someone with a size 10 body and a big chest. Unfortunately had to return it. So disappointed with the fit.
