My new comfort trousers

Very good quality jeans, same for the bump piece. Fits perfect, it's only too long and doesn't look so great. Anyway I'll need to DIY on both pairs but I'm only 5'4, so it's quite normal for me.

Ordered these in black, indigo and dark indigo. The black version fits very different compared to the other colours - the waistband is tight band on the bump rather than underneath it. The black was £6 in the sale but I still returned them as they were so uncomfortable. The others are perfect.

I bought these jeans because I hoped they would help me following a major abdominal operation. My centre is well supported while the jeans are well made and smart. I am very pleased.

Very uncomfy

Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)

No, I don't recommend this

I found these jeans really stiff and heavy, and totally the opposite of the kind of clothes I’d want to wear as a pregnant woman with a growing bump! Whilst the main jeans part is cut away from your bump the legs are still very stiff and the hips felt narrow. Not a fan.

Slim Fit on the Legs

Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)

No, I don't recommend this

Always buy M&S Jeans, however, I am a fan of seeing them in the shop as I require stretch in the legs. There was very little stretch in the legs and therefore couldn't get them on. If I had gone up a size, they would have been too large on the waist. Shame as they looked great on the hanger! Really need to stock Maternity in Stores!

Mark and Spencer jeans are usually soft and stretchy but these were made from a much heavier denim than usual and did not feel comfortable at all. Returned!

Button popped off within hours!

Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)

Unfortunately the button came off within hours of first wearing them, the button was just for show and you could in do it, which wasn’t ideal given my expanding waistband! I’ve had someone sew s proper button and button hole in so far more practical. Bit of a design fault I would say. Find them comfy and love you can wear a belt with them.

Good jeans

These jeans are a good length and works with a variety of shoes I prefer the straight leg jeans as they hang loser around the legs making my shoe options wider. The jeans look good and are comfortable. They are a bit big on me though and if I was to buy another pair I would try a smaller size.

Love these!

Considering m&s maternity range is appallingly small these jeans are so so good! It's such a shame they don't broaden their range. These are great if you don't like super skinny maternity jeans and look really nice with the bottoms folded over. They even have a normal waist band that you can wear a belt with and tuck tops into. Would purchase again.

Straight leg maternity jeans

Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)

Yes, I recommend this

I bought these straight leg, over-the-bump maternity jeans and they're great! I am 5'3 and bought regular length, which is a bit on the long side for me, if not wearing a small heel but I just turn them up when in the house. The medium indigo colour (which I bought) is not too dark, not too light and the fabric feels like denim not the stretchy stuff that a lot of the other jeans on the market seem to have in them. Ultimately, they are comfortable *for now* and a great price at £29.50 (at time of my purchase, April 2019). They would benefit from having more 'give' where the bump material meets the waistband as it is very rigid. I am currently 25 weeks and haven’t really gained weight except for the baby bump and I can't see these fitting me towards the end of the pregnancy, as they have no flexibility at the waistband at all. Aside from that, very happy with the quality. It’d be great if larger stores like the Oxford branch held some maternity wear items in stock. Presently, I am only able to order maternity wear online and without being able to try them on first. I ordered the wrong size initially and had to return them and re-order the correct size, which was a bit of a faff and irksome.

I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH M&S!

Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)

Yes, I recommend this

For 2 months now I have been looking for straight leg (not skinny fit) maternity jeans that come in a long leg length. The only ones I found with a long leg length were by next but they were ridiculously expensive, badly fitting, cheap feel and had back pockets half way down my thigh which just looked weird. Then last week, when I thought all was lost, alas M&S bring out a new range of maternity jeans, in straight leg, with different leg lengths. I ordered a load. They have arrived today and I've tried them on and just burst into teas of happiness (I literally sobbed, partially hormones, partially relief). They fit wonderfully. They are extremely flattering, soooooooo comfortable. I was genuinely concerned I wouldn't be able to wear jeans for the next 6 months but you have cheered me up beyond belief. They feel superb quality and I have no doubt that they will last really well, including through future pregnancies if we decide to have more than one. Thank you so, so much for realising that maternity jeans still need different leg lengths. If I needed "long" before I was pregnant, I'm not going to suddenly shrink and get away with "regular" half way through pregnancy, which I'm sure is what most retailers must think. Right now I could kiss whoever designed these jeans. I don't have enough words to describe how pleased I am. Thank you M&S!
