Leather wellies!

Looked like Wellington Boots. No shape. Pair supplied also had marks on leather and appeared to be returns. So they had to be returned because faulty but would have returned anyway based on looks.

Something slightly different about these boots. No zip which suits me perfectly. Ideally would have liked the option of slim fit as they are wider than expected at calf however as I have jeans underneath they fit. Lovely quality as I expected.

Could not get boots on.

I could not get these boots on. The instep is not generous and my foot simply could not slip into the boot. I am very disappointed. The leather is soft. The price is excellent. They are lovely but you need slim feet!

Bad. Looked cheap, not £125 worth. Couldn't get my foot around the bend at the bottom as there's no zip and I'm only a size 5, so don't have particularly large feet.

Managed to snap up the last pair in my size and I cannot say enough good things about them! I wore them straight out of the bag two days running ( why no box for online shoppers M&S??? ) with no heel or toe rub at all. The sole is ridiculously comfortable, the heel is very easy to walk in with no arch pain at all. I love a pull on style so these were very easy to put on imho and look a lot like a traditional riding boot in style. I found them true to size- I wear a half size and they were perfect- roomy enough to wear long socks with enough wriggle room for the toes. The leg length is lovely and long (I’m 5’ 6”) with average leg length and they were perfect for me. The leather is beautiful- they will last a long time and they definitely look a-lot more expensive then they were. Well done Autograph!!

Lovely boots. They don’t have a zip so a bit of a struggle to get on and off but they look great and are comfortable

A beautiful well made boot, only given 4 stars rather than 5 as they are a tinny it too tall (I am short 5’3”) and they occasional dig in the back of my right knee! Otherwise I love them!

Really nice although the 8 is rather tight as I’m normally a 9. Really wish M&S would offer size 9 in its boots

I feel these are getting bad reviews when they are such lovely boots and, as someone else has written, completely on trend. Almost identical to a pair of boots I was eyeing up for £300, I was delighted when these came back in stock. No, they aren't fitted around the ankle, but that is the style - they are fairly close fitting around the calf to my "normal" size legs (mine are 14 inches or around 36 cm) and over jeans they look great. I don't find the ankle wrinkles when I walk and don't have any problems putting them on either. Absolutely delighted with these!

Bang on trend, true to size and so comfortable. These boots are a staple bit of kit for autumn winter, never had them off …10/10. Well done M&S!

So disapponted
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
So disapponted with the choice in long boots from M&S this year. Looking for a stylish pair of black, zip up, leather boots. There just arn't any. Tried these out. They are true to size & the leather is lovley - but no zip. So they feel & look like wellies. No shape & difficult to get off. Returned.

Really difficult to put on as no zip or elasticated sides. Once on they are really comfortable. Look good and seem good quality leather.

I bought these boots and had high hopes for them but was so disappointed. The fit around the ankle is far too big and they look like a pair of leather wellingtons. There is no zip which I think is the problem. These boots are not super cheap so I would have expected better. They will be returned sadly.
