Bought a brown pair earlier this yearbut I am constantly fiddling with the buckles and have never quite managed to match the comfort of the black linen style equivalent sandal that I bought from M&S last year. Disappointed that they have not been available this year. Good value for money but I'm afraid these have proved a lot less comfotable than last years. Reinforcing is peeling off the back of the buckle strap - probably because I cannot get it in the right place

Good sandals but problems with soles

I have had several pairs of these sandals over the years and they last well, but the pair I bought last season and kept for when I needed them, have a problem with the soles. They are very slippy on some vinyl and tiled floors so I can't use them indoors. I have tried to rub the soles down but this hasn't worked. Disappointing.

I have had several pairs of these over the years and they last very well, but the pair I bought last season and put away for when I needed new ones, unfortunately have very shiny soles, which are dangerously slippy on smooth floors like marmoleum or some tiles. I have tried rubbing them down but it hasn't helped much so they are useless to wear indoors.

Disappointing. I've had these before, but in leather. This downgraded version is not so comfortable - it really cuts in on the top of my foot. I can't return them as I've worn them, so I suspect they'll go in the bin - or I'll just use them to take rubbish out to the bin at best
