So comfortable even with bunions!

I have a large bunion on my left which I know will require surgery one day. Until then I try and wear stylish comfortable shoes whilst I still can. I've wanted some wedges for a long time. I tried other brands including Monsoon and Russell and Bromley, but I had to return them each time. I thought I would give these a try and they are spot on! The leather is so soft it folds over the contours of my foot and doesn't cut in. You can't even tell there is a bunion there when I'm wearing them. The colour is gorgeous and the heel height is perfect for me, my only niggle is that the back of the shoe is not quite high enough so I do have to tie the cords quite tight to keep the shoes from slipping when I walk. However this is a small price to pay for stylish comfortable shoes! I am normally a 6 in M&S and took my usual size, I don't think sizing down would have helped me because the toe end is perfect! Great buy, thank you M&S!

Leather espadrilles

No, I don't recommend this
Ordered online as had been looking for tan leather espadrilles but disappointed when they arrived. The tan leather is an orangey colour and the straps are a bright cream colour. No matter which way I tied them, my feet slipped out when I walked. I had to return them.

Saw these online and decided to buy them. Nice looking and I like the tie detail. As others have said, the ties are cream so not suitable to wear with white. You'll also need to iron the ties before wearing them. True to size.

Bought my usual size 5 and they're a good fit on me. Weather too cold to wear them outside just now, but have worn them around the house and find them really comfortable. Got them with the Sparks 20% discount, so really great value. Overall, extremely pleased with this purchase.

I ordered these 2 weeks ago. They fit really well as I can pull the lace tight around my ankle. Leather upper in classic tan looks lovely. Haven’t worn them out yet - nowhere to go but looking forward to stepping out in style! Even better - I got them with 20% discount so great value for a leather sandal.

Loved them but had to return....

Absolutely loved the style and tan colour of these Espadrilles. Sadly I have a high instep and as the ankle cup is not particularly deep I had to return as my foot was coming out of them as I walked due to the ribbon having to sit too high on my ankle.

Gorgeous with every summer skirt or dress! I love an espadrille wedge and these are right up there... great heel height (not too tottery), deep tan leather and so comfy. I was worried I would look a bit like mutton, but hopefully I don’t. A real keeper.

Nice mid season style

I like the tan colour as I think it goes with most things. They’re also not too high. The tape ankle straps are a little deeper in colour than the canvas on the sandal. Most espradrilles are fabric so I like that the toe part is leather. Bought two sizes having read some reviews but kept my usual size.

I bought these in a Size 8, I take a 7, but have wide feet and this tactic often works. I LOVE Them! they are comfy, don't cut my foot in half and are such a good price for this shoe, tit looks like it costs way more. really pleased!

Comfortable & expensive looking

Tan is always a classic colour & these shoes are comfortable, a nice height and look far more expensive than they were. I usually spend up to £100 on espadrilles, so these are great value for money!

Not right for my feet

I like the style of theses espadrilles and really wanted them to fit. I initially ordered a size 5 but the toe part was too short for my feet. So I went up a half size, Toe part still not comfortable and the rest of the sandal was too big. Disappointed, though it’s not the shoes fault, I have a wide foot.

They look vey pretty online, but I did wonder whether they might be s bit too “young” for me. However they look sophisticated and stylish on, and go well with most things. The quality is amazing - how do they do it at this price?

Clumpy and frumpy

I LOVE lace-up espadrilles and had been looking for a camel leather pair for ages. I was so pleased to find these and ordered them right away, but was so disappointed when they came. Positives are the lovely colour and the heel height, which is great. But the sizing was off - I am ALWAYS a size 3.5 at M&S but these are slightly too big, even on a hot day. The front part of the shoe is wide enough and fits perfectly, the issue with these is the back. In my other lace-up espadrilles, the back is flexible, which means that it moves with the laces to create a tight fit around your heel. With these, the back is more rigid, so tying up the laces didn't pull the back in. This meant that I was walking out of them. I have ordered a size 3 to see, but I suspect they will be too small. The other issue is that they are quite clumpy and the colour of the straps is actually quite a bright cream. I was considering dyeing them with tea or something to tone down the colour so they blend in better with the shoes, or replacing them altogether. Finally, most M&S shoes now have leather uppers but are lined with strange fabric material and have non-leather insoles. Natural materials would have been much better in a closed summer shoe. Good effort M&S but not for me, sadly.

I loved the style of these and the height as they area little higher than the other wedge espadrilles with M&S but unfortunately they were very narrow and didn’t fit comfortably although the correct length. I don’t usually take a wide fit but if they did these in wide that’s what I’d need.
