Large Mock Tortoiseshell Reading Sunglasses

These are my second pair after I broke the frames on my others on holiday - they're just the job for sunbathing and reading. Or just reading the papers in the garden. I tried to wear a pair of reading glasses with sunglasses over the top but that didn't exactly work! I ordered both the tortoiseshell and the black tinted sunglasses and have kept both as they will come in handy.

Reading sunglasses, with a specific magnification, are not the easiest to source. Frame is a little on the tight side. This is second pair I have bought. Last pair lasted 2 seasons of holidays but frame broke - possibly not UV stable and/or tightness resulted in this. Nevertheless, effective. Good service, delivered to local store.

Very happy with these reading sunglasses - + 1.75. Lenses are as described and the wide arms allow some shade to prevent glare. They look stylish, allow me to read easily in the sun and were inexpensive, which is a plus, since I only need prescription sunnies for two weeks holiday.

great value wouldn't be without them great for reading in bright sunshine, I definitely recommend these glasses

Great looking reading sunglasses. Nice shape, look just like normal sunglasses.

If like me you have to wear reading glasses and spend loads of time in the sun then these are great. Cheap and cheerful you do t have to worry about leaving them around. Great style, good quality plastic and the reading lens is fine. Very useful for a holiday extra - I would recommend them. Just wish they had more styles available in sun readers as I would have bought more.

I bought these for my wife since she's been getting pretty fed up with juggling several pairs of reading/driving/sun glasses — even *her* handbag isn't big enough to cope! She's delighted with them, not least in view of the fact that she had been thinking about visiting the optician and spending about ten times more to achieve exactly the same effect. The mock tortoiseshell looks great; added to which the width of the side-arms at the hinge prevents glare creeping in from the side, which is a definite bonus. In fact we were so pleased with them that we bought an extra pair to have as a spare. Well done, M&S!

I thought I would get these for my holiday as I always struggle to read in bright sunlight with normal reading glasses.They are sturdy & stylish They are just what I needed for on the beach. They look just as good as my expensive sunglasses 7 at only £12 they were a bargin . Thanks M&S
