Large Beaded Glass Mixing Bowl

The instructions were clear and I was disappointed that the large and medium sized bowls were not dishwasher safe. However, unfortunately, I forgot when I brought them back from the Women’s Institute meeting I used them to serve Strawberries for our tea. And the inevitable happened and the medium broke. But I didn’t spot that the larger one had - just one of the little glass balls on the rim was missing. Because it’s my mistake I’ve decided to try again and buy more. Also, do NOT try to stack the smaller inside the larger as they are very close in size and can get stuck. So be sure you place something like a tissue between them.

I was bought this as a present and loved it. It didnt have a label to say what you mustnt do with it and tbh, I didnt know it came from here. I used it for a bain marie but it cracked almost instantly at a low temp. mortified. someone else had one and it had a crack in the beading and then cracked down. for the price, it should be a bit more durable and have a label

Got the2 smaller bowls in the sale & now the big one. Beautiful for salads or trifle.

So like many others, I would love to have the style and class that Nigella, eloquently presents on her cooking programs. In any case, I saw a mixing bowl that I’ve admired for many moons. When Nigella uses it the food looks insatiable. So I decided, I must find it. I went looking with no avail. Then to my surprise (knowing that I should’ve started my search here) Marks and Spencer’s came to the rescue, and also gave me a wonderful discount in their sale. I can now at least look like somewhat of a Nigella. Anyway ladies and Gentlemen, do yourself a favour and get into this culinary beauty of a bowl.

I regularly make fresh fruit salad for friends and family. Usually I put it on the table in an ordinary Pyrex bowl but I wanted to upgrade my presentation. This bowl is perfect and I'm going to buy another one.
