Seemed like there was a great delay in the gift reaching the recipient and I was concerned, since the amount had left my account. On closer inspection, I discovered I had given the incorrect email address for the recipient - my fault entirely. After a phone call to M&S, they confirmed that the unintended recipient had not accessed the e-gift card, so M&S rendered it void and re-issued to the intended recipient. Thank you to M&S for rectifying the situation caused by my error. The intended recipient received the e-gift within a couple of hours it being re-issued. Very satisfied.
