Goodbut not great trousers.Good shape and fit but I think the fabric lets them down a bit. I was 3xpecting a softer fabric,being jersey but it's quite stiff,so doesn't drape and hang as well as hoped for. I prefer wide leg trousers to be in a softer fabric so there is movement in them as you walk. Also these crease more because of tge stiffness,I'm hoping they'll soften when washed.I almost sent them back but they fit so well,I kept them.

For wide leg trousers I think they come up on the small size. I am usually a size 10 but ended up getting the 12 which fitted perfectly. As other reviews state, they are of a good quality and weighty material and certainly do not look or feel like the price! Have not washed them yet as I have bought them for a cruise we are going on but hopefully they will wash well. I also ordered the crepe wide leg trousers and TBH preferred these. Well done M&S!

Vanity sizing at its best

The trousers will need washing and ironing before they can be worn too any event as they were delivered looking so badly packed. They are nice enough trousers, material feels ok. I ordered two sizes and two different lengths and I wonder why the length description matches but the actual length was different one being a couple of cm longer. I’ve described it as vanity sizing as it’s M&S interpretation of the sizes - I would recommend trying on before buying
