Hiker Lace Up Block Heel Ankle Boots

Loved the look of these boots - great style, colour and price but far too chunky for me sadly so have returned.

Great boot but comes very big I take a 4 should have gone down 1/2 a size

I was a bit hesitant to order a pair after reading the reviews about these great looking but noisy boots. However, a huge thank you to the lady who recommended the talc trick to stop the squeaking! They really DID squeak - but after using the talc as she suggested, the squeaking stopped immediately! I am so glad as these boots look great, feel great and even without the discount offer at the time, represent excellent value for money. Don't be put off by the squeaking - you can fix it! Please M&S, send that lovely lady a bouquet!!

Just bought them in store, got them home and so squeaky,, checked on the reviews on here and was gutted as they didn’t have many options for boots and I was desperate for some but I’ve just rubbed them with baby powder like I saw recommended and it works perfectly and the squeak has gone!!

When I looked at previous reviews I was worried about the noise they would make, but took to heart someone else's comment about using baby powder to eliminate the noise. Totally works! so I've just been enjoying how comfy they are :)

As other reviewers have said these boots do squeak - loudly - when you first get them. My first thought was to send them straight back even though the design and colour is perfect but instead I remembered an old trick my grandma used to do and rubbed the "leather" with a little bit of baby powder and, hey presto - the squeak has gone! I only used a small amount of powder and rubbed it between my hands first and then applied it to the boots - especially the tongue. I really hope this works for other people too as they are very comfortable boots and look brilliant with maxi dresses or jeans.

I should have taken the reviews concerning the ‘squeaking’ complaint seriously but bought them anyway as I really liked them...... But the squeaking due to the fabric used was unacceptable & I returned them sadly.

Well I did read the reviews but loved the look of the boots and thought well how squeaky can a boot be for goodness sakes... pulled stuffing out they squeaked... put them on looked great, felt sooo comfy, good to walk in but goodness me what a noise every single movement the fabric squeaked so much the dog came running out to see what was going on... M & S could you not make this in a different fabric because they are gorgeous boots... please...

The boots look really nice and having already bought them in dark brown and black I thought I’d get these for the summer. However they are unbelievably squeaky when you walk!

Squeaked my way round the supermarket bit rubbish really because I love the style

Love these, come up a little big but great with thick sock

They squeak badly when you walk in them! They are very comfy though, even on the first wear.
