Really pleased very robust and attractive to look at as well as reasonable priced. Delivery men were first class, clean and careful not to soil carpets. Unpacked and assembled bed and removed all packaging. Would highly recommend.

I bought this for the Grandchildren to stay over and although it is very well made, I cannot understand that there is nothing to stop the underbed when pulled out from moving about!! You literally get on it and it starts moving on the castors. We have to put towels around it to stop this which isn't ideal. Anyone else have this problem?

This bed was purchased for an almost 4 year old granddaughter who was so thrilled with it! Delivery details were easy to arrange and a text told me the 2hr window in which it would arrive. It was! Unfortunately she was still asleep in her ‘old’ bed, so it wasn’t possible for it to be built by delivery team, but we found it easy to assemble following clear instruction sheet. The secondary bed underneath will be really useful when a friend comes to stay. A really good purchase!!

Poor quality mattesses that don't fit the bed!

We bought this bed for my daughter a few years ago. I was shocked to notice that the mattresses don't actually fit the bed and leave a large, and dangerous for small kids, gap either at the top or bottom of the bed depending on where you position the mattress. We ended up stuffing a pillow down one end to close the gap!! We bought the better quality mattresses from M & S and I wished I hadn't!. My daughter has always been able to feel the springs and she is not heavy at all. We are now having to buy another bed and mattress for her!!!

Poor design

This is a lovely looking bed but we bought a standard size mattress from M&S and it does not fit the bedframe leaving a large gap at the bottom or top depending on where you position the mattress. Very poor design for the money you pay and am disappointed that M&S advertise this as a children's bed.

We purchased this bed for our toddler to match other items in the range we already own. The description states it's compatible with a single mattress (standard size is 90x190cm) so we purchased one from M&S only to find the bed frame is significantly too long for it. The bed was returned as for the money I'd expect a mattress to fit the bed properly without seeing exposed slats. In this state it is also extremely unsuitable for our toddler. I expected much better. Very disappointing.

I fell in love with this bed and after reading the other reviews decided to order it, we wanted the truckle bed underneath for when she wants to have her friends to stay over. Really pleased with the bed also ordered the turnaround mattress which is really good quality. The men who fixed it all together, despite arriving 2 hours before their delivery time, were tidy, efficient and quick. A really good service and my husband was pleased not to have to do it when he got in from work!

I have been looking for a single bed to accommodate the occasional sleep over from my grandchildren. This bed is perfect. The pull out underbed allows both of them to stay in the same room and is a bonus for any unexpected teenagers returning for the weekend from Uni. Highly recommended.

Beautiful bed purchased for my 2 year old daughter. Love the look of it, pull out bed slides out easily. BUT on 2nd day one of the slates on pull out broke and last week one on bed broke, no one has been jumping on it so not happy with that, I will be getting in touch with m&s as we only got it around 6 weeks ago.

Brought this bed based on all the other reviews. It does look stunning and the trundle is great but one of the slats is broken already after only a few months of my 3 year old sleeping on it. It doesn't feel really sturdy and the wood doesn't feel that solid. Awaiting respons from m and s about this fault.

Very sturdy, good quality. Simple style. went for simple open coil mattress which is good enough. Also side table goes well with it.

Bought this bed for my grandkids and they love it. Great novelty value. Colour was more cream than white but great quality and particularly liked the service from the two delivery guys, who had covers for there shoes, a mat for the hallway, put the bed together and also took away the rubbish! Can't ask more than that.

My new guest bed in ivory

I chose this as an alternative to a double bed in my spare room because I wanted more space in the room and it offers much more flexible sleeping accommodation for guests, both adults and children, as only couples want to share a bed. I am very pleased with the quality as both beds have wooden slats to support mattresses and the M&S delivery men were marvellous, putting it together in no time, taking away the packing and ensuring they didn't make any mess on carpets etc. Although it states max mattress depth 20cms, which is difficult to find in a quality mattress, I did manage to find a reasonable 20cms one for the pull out bed, however, I did buy a better quality, much deeper mattress for the main bed, so it is suitable for adults too. I shall be trying it out at xmas when my daughter and my grandsons come to stay.

Really pleased with this bed. My daughter loves it and we've already used the guest bed underneath for family visits. Delivered exactly when they said they would and love the fact that M&S put it all together and take the rubbish away with them. Fantastic product and service!

Bought for my twin grandsons to use when staying over. I have seen cheaper versions of this bed, however I have not seen any better quality. Having to buy the bed plus 2 mattresses does make it a bit expensive for a guest bed, however the convenience, quality and appearance make it worthwhile. Both beds are strong, the bottom one is easy to pull out and manouver and both are very comfortable. I have to mention M&S service and delivery, it could not be bettered the men were polite covered their shoes to protect my carpets, assembled the beds and took away all the packing quickly and efficiently. As my Husband is 70years with arthritis and I am 60???ish we really appreciated this, and would buy again from M&S for this service alone.

Bought this bed for my 3 year old and she absolutely loves it! It is a very well made bed, and looks incredibly striking when you walk into her room. It isn't white white, but an off white, I was aware of that when I bought it and am happy with the colour. Love the trundle beneath as easy to pull out, she can't wait to have friends over to sleep. Brilliant bed at a very reasonable price. The delivery men were fab. I got a phone call from the delivery team informing me of what day the delivery would be made then 2 days before the delivery date I got another call with a two hour time slot, then on the day I got a phone call from them telling me when they would be arriving. Perfect! They also put the bed together and took all the packaging away. Thank you!
