Took me ages to hunt down a light dinner service to replace my Maxim crockery which is too heavy for my hands which have become arthritic. Retailers don't tell you the weight of individual pieces, yet that is key information that affects how practical crockery is. Please note, M&S! Having taken scales into various stores to check this out, the Hampton is the lightest I could find. V pleased with purchase.

I bought these to go with the boxed set that I'd already purchased. I am very clumsy, so am pleased to say despite being delicate they are also quite tough which is why I bought some more to add to my collection.
