They don't fully go over the calf, so if you were to ware them they'd do more harm than good. Returned mine yesterday

These are really poor. The main fault is that they are too short and do not reach below the knee. They only reach half way up the calf which makes them dangerous actually! Also the foot is too small. I thought that I had been sent small by mistake, I'm size 9.5/10 and they just did not fit. Finally they do not feel tight around the leg, compression is too weedy. SO, DO NOT BUY! This is a great shame as the old M&S flight socks, which were cotton rich instead of shiny nylon and made in Turkey were excellent.
