I wanted a long line denim jacket as a change from the short, cropped ones. It took a few It took a few try's with different sizes but really pleased with the fit of the one I kept. Normally a 10/12 depending on style, I went with the size 8. The size 8 is the fit I was after, the bigger, over sized look just didn't suit me it at all. This is good quality, well made, soft denim which is comfortable to wear. I love the longer length and will be getting a lot of wear out of this.

Gorgeous denim jacket, lovely length to wear with an oversized t shirt and leggings. It’s not too thick or too thin denim despite what other reviews suggest. I’m a size 10 and ordered my usual size as I didn’t want it to be too big on the shoulders. The fit is lovely. Give it a try! Great price too :)

I have wanted a longline denim jacket for the longest time, and was really happy to see M&S offer this one. Bought it a week ago after reading the reviews, and yes, the jacket does fit a little big. It is made of heavy weight denim of good quality with deep inside pockets which are perfect to hold mobile phones and purses while on walks. I decided to go for my usual size as I want to be able to wear it over chunky jumpers during colder weather. This jacket will get plenty of use during my daily walks in the spring and autumn.

I purchased this to wear with a dress purchased at the same time, but when it arrived and I tried it on the general sizing seemed off, too big, heavier than expected and generally disappointed. Usually I buy a size 16 jacket, but reading reviews I down sized, still too big.

So disappointed with the size .. and annoyed with myself for not checking reviews .. beautiful jacket .. great quality ... ordered size 22 and it’s just huge .. I wanted it for autumn walks with a sweater under it .. I’m normally size 20 .. so I though I was getting a little bigger .. should have ordered 18 .. and the worst thing is .., it’s now out if stock on line ..

I ordered this with my fingers crossed as had bought one from two other stores in the past. The other two were such a bad fit I felt like I had a mans jacket on. I am quite busty so it was such a relief for it to fit so well. Thanks for restoring my confidence.

Having read previous reviews, I ordered my normal size and one smaller. The smaller one fits well. Sleeves could be a tad longer, I’m 5‘10. it looks well made, decent weight and I like the longer length. Have returned my “normal size” one.

I bought this jacket with great expectations as it was longer which I prefer from the bomber jacket. However my normal size was enormous & obviously had to be returned. M&S seriously need to review their sizes with this jacket. It was very heavy & not as I had hoped. Extremely disappointed.

I ordered both the size 14 then the size 12 as previous reviews commented on the sizing. The quality of the jacket is very good but I am a size 14/16 and the jacket was too big and bulky. it would definitely suit a taller person (I am 5ft 4ins). I unfortunately will be returning the size 12 and look for an alternative.

Really pleased with this jacket. I love the longer length & style. I am usually a size 12, but didn't want it too oversized as 5’2”. The size 10 is perfect with the cuffs upturned. Versatile too.

Lovely jacket, loose fit and long length. 5.8" so works well for me. I went up a size to get it bigger but actually didn't need to as quite roomy, so I would stick with your size. Having said that I am still keeping it. Well made and good quality denim.
