Short people - buy long cropped for perfect length

These basic black trousers are perfect (for me)! I look absurd in 'cropped' trousers/anklle grazers and cannot wear skinny or slimfit, but these have a reasonably generous leg width and a small flare. I bought LONG in the hope that they would be full length on me (at 5'1") and they are. The fabric is robust with some stretch but I have not washed them yet. One very happy customer, I recommend any similar short people to do the same.

I am a size 10 and just under 5'4'' and the size 10 fit me perfectly and come just below mid calf. Look great with white plimsolls and a shirt. Great quality fabric and cut, feel very smart and high end. I like 3/4 trousers and have narrow hips and a relatively big waist for a size 10 and these are spot on.

[Employee of marksandspencer-en_gb] Perfect transition trousers. Great fit, lovely fabric and stylish. Also think they will look great with heeled ankle boots when it gets cooler.

dreadful trousers

No, I don't recommend this
I was so dissapointed with these trousers. The kick flare was perfect but the material was very stiff and had shiny silver ironing marks already on delivery so goodness knows how they would look after being washed and pressed, they almost looked as if they had already been worn and returned. I think they are overpriced. Also sizing was way off, my usual size 10 were far too small and the 12 fitted on the waist but then stuck out at the hips. I think they would drive me mad after wearing them for a short while as I felt that they would feel as if they were dragging against my skin. I'm all for a bit of give and stretch but I'm finding a lot of this years styles are too rigid, they almost stand up on their own.
