Very tight leg

I knew this was a skinny design so ordered a size bigger than I normally would, and it was a good fit with a bit of give around the waist, but far too tight around the leg. I haven't got rugby player thighs and a relatively slim build. I really liked the fabric and style, but they were just far too skinny around the leg and uncomfortably tight.

These "Five Pocket" shorts are wonderful. A skinny, tailored fit in lovely soft cotton twill with stretch. They are comfortable and flexible and yet look great. The narrow legs will not suit those of a big build, but hoorah to M&S for producing a nice pair of slim-fit shorts at last. Lots of good colours too - but now out of stock. Re-stock soon please M&S.

the shorts are a lovely fit on my husband and the neutral colour goes with everything. The quality is excellent. A lot we looked at on line had thin fabric which would have shown his colour pants through! Definitely recommend

This only fits someone with very skinny legs. Waist is right size but its too tight on the thighs and legs like a compression short.

These looked nice shorts but the legs were for thin spiders at best. I could not get them up beyond my knees which was not an attractive look!

The shorts are great quality and excellent value for money. However, Marks and Spencer’s have a habit of making clothes smaller than the size stated. I purposefully bought a size larger than normal and still they are too small. This is also an issue with every pair of trousers I have bought.

I ordered these in dark blue for my husband and he loves them. Good quality and really soft material. It was mentioned in a few of the reviews that the fit around the top of the leg was quite snug and would be no good for men with large thighs. My husband is tall with a slim build so they are an ideal fit. Got them in the sale so even better!

Take no notice of the reviews saying these are too small. I bought my usual size and they fit perfectly. Legs fit close which us how I like them to be. Not tight. Would have bought more but out of stock in my size

Bought these for my partner in the sale only 9 pounds absolute bargain. Got the burgundy colour they look lovely on and can be rolled up to make shorter. Generous in size but not so much so that they need to be ordered in a smaller size. Quality item too.
