I purchased the correct chest size, but it is very tight across the shoulders, no give at all.

Awful fit

What on earth is happening with M&S cut of clothes, so many of their casual shirts are badly shaped. There is in sufficient material across the back meaning the sleeves are in the wrong place and I couldn't bring my arms across my chest - it's feels like a straight-jacket. Had the same on 3 out of 4 shirts in this order, so disappointing all returned! Will shop elsewhere in future.

Bought for my husband. He usually wears a large but in this shirt he needed an XL Beautiful shirt, very crisp and clean looking and he loves it! Looks more expensive than it is.

Bought this last week in Large. Not big enough, bought the same regular fit in a long sleeve shirt last winter, fits perfect. Come on M & S what is going on ?.

We bought the medium which was too tight. I don’t remember the last time my husband bought large. Took it back and bought the Large which was far too big on shoulders. My husband is not fat.

Once again a bit small for xl. I like the colour and feel of this shirt. its a pity it isn't square cut at the bottom but I will tuck it into my shorts/trousers which for a summer shirt is a shame. The same about the fit really for summer short sleeve shirts you would expect a little extra but that is the way of things. I now have L.XL and XXL M&S shirts that fit me. Why is is?

The colour stood out on the rack. It was bright without being garish. Goes well with grey chinos.

Bought the navy check for my husband. I originally bought a large size as a lot of the reviews said it came up small but it was far too big. Exchanged for his usual medium size, which although being a bit skimpy is a much better fit. He just won’t be able to stretch to peg the washing on the line for me lol.

Space dye check shirt

Space dye check caught my eye as new idea but not as great in reality compared to online photo. Also not a fan of fabric handle- would have preferred 100% cotton as poly/cotton feels not as fresh in heat of summer. Certainly liked the idea of space dye check but not in poly/cotton.

Had to go up a size because of M&S new fit (slimmer waist). 3X size in this shirt tight on arms when reaching out with both arms.

Never had a problem with large fit before. But they have changed the fit. New fit it maybe, improved it is not. Too tight across the back of the shoulders and underarms Returned. XL too long. Sorry M&S, looks like I will be shopping elsewhere for my shirts.

In and amongst many button-down collar shirts I found two soft touch shirts (one navy, one red) with "ordinary" collars I had to snatch them up! The feel and fit are good, the navy one has been washed once already, I'm sure I'd have got away without but I did feel it needed ironing to make it look its best if M&S make more "ordinary" collar casual shirts I will buy them.

New Regular Fit

I needed to replace some shirts, so purchased 2 of these. Reading about the new regular fit, I reluctantly ordered the next size up. The shirts look good as long as I stand still. Moving or lifting arms exposes the smaller fit across the shoulders, even though I ordered a size up ... XL. Even bending down to do shoe laces places strain on the seams! I don't know how long these shirts will last, but Marks has convinced me that I need to buy my clothes elsewhere.

Why name it “Cotton space” if it is 100% man-made?

100 percent artificial fibre so what a ridiculous name for the product. A waste of my time and M&Ss

We will be returning this item. We are very disappointed as a cotton shirt was expected and this shirt is modal and polyester. We are not happy at all. It was also too narrow across the shoulders.
