Beautiful fit, simple style and good fabric...light enough to feel floaty but heavy enough not to crease. M & S sizing often a tad on the big size for me but I know that and so I ordered two sizes to get the best fit. Ended up with the smaller one on this occasion.

I bought this dress for a funeral, as it looked great in the photo on the model, but I returned it. In the photo, it looks as though there is an interesting stand-up collar, with some texture to it. However, the collar is the same fabric as the dress, and it is a simple collar that does not stand up. This makes it a simple black dress which could be jazzed up with accessories (but not for a funeral). I also felt it was a little long. The size was fine - plenty big enough for the size selected.

I ordered this for my daughter who loves it. She says that it is perfect for the formal ceremony that she is attending where she needs to wear a black dress with long sleeves.
