Cleansing Face Wash Sensitive Skin 150ml

This is cleans my face, removing all make-up (apart from mascara). This cleanser is as good as any I have ever used and I have used many. It is easily as good as premium priced cleansers I have used and just makes me wonder why on Earth I have been paying a fortune on "upmarket" snake oil when I could have been using this. Don't be put off by the low price, we should be pleased not to be ripped off - it does what it says and doesn't leave the skin feeling dry or troubled!

I don't use this every time I cleanse my face but do use it most mornings and sometimes after evening cleansing with the milk/lotion from this range (which is excellent). A tiny amount produces a lot of creamy lather which is amazingly non-drying and very cleansing. I have gradually converted to this range and this was the product I was least expecting to love as I have not enjoyed face washes previously - they usually leave my skin tight and red. I have found this gentle and suitable for my sensitive, delicate, combination-type skin.

[Employee of marksandspencer-en_gb] This is a cloudy slightly thick gel, with an inoffensive base smell to it. It gave a bit of a lather, which was nice and soft when applied to the skin on your face. I found this didn't leave my skin dry or feeling tight, after I used it.

I bought this as I have been trying out some other M&S skin products. I usually use premium skincare and have been using a foaming cleanser that costs a lot more than this one. Although this cleanser doesn't foam, it does an excellent job; my premium cleanser tended to leave my skin feeling a bit dry, but this one doesn't. My skin feels clean and soft afterwards. I will definitely switch to this one.

I have been using a creamy 'hot cloth cleanser' but found that it's too rich for my sensitive, combination skin during spells of warmer weather. As a result, I've spent ages searching for a 'Cruelty Free' gel-type cleanser that's suitable for my menopausal skin. I will only use products that are free from animal ingredients and where neither the product nor its ingredients have been tested on animals by, or on behalf of the marketing company. A small amout of this cleanser, mixed with water in my hand gives a lovely light, not overly foamy face wash that cleans my skin without leaving it feeling dry or tight. I've only given it four stars as I'm not keen on the smell of the product, which reminds me of the soapy liquid that children blow bubbles with. It's not unpleasant, just not what I was expecting. Still, if it was scented, it might deter consumers who require a fragrance free product. The fact that it is free from Parabens, made in the UK and retails for a very reasonable price makes it, for me, the cleanser that best suits my skin's needs, my ethical requirements and my budget.

I always use this face wash,find it really good for my skin and usually buy when there is a beauty offer on so its also good value for money,hopefully M&S won’t discontinue it like they have with other beauty products
