Wear it wide
The bigger, the better is our motto when it comes to finding our dream jeans. There’s no question that looser styles with a wider leg are having something of a fashion moment – in fact, our best-selling wide-leg jeans are flying off the shelves. The good news is that wide-leg jeans are surprisingly versatile. We love them with white trainers and a slogan T-shirt for every day, but they also work brilliantly with a going-out top and strappy heels for evening plans.
If you want something a little more streamlined, try a carrot-leg or flared jean. All have a more relaxed fit than your traditional straight or skinny jean but are a subtler take on the voluminous trend. Try a high-waisted cut to define your waist or opt for a slouchier low or mid-rise style to nod to the nineties. Our belted jeans with Lyocell are our top choice for transitional dressing.
Silver linings
Join the gold, silver and bronze rush: metallics are the in thing this season (and surprisingly easy to wear). Switch up your regular go-to indigo washed denim with a pair of striking silver jeans or a burnished gold denim skirt. Take your denim to the maxi
Meet the most flattering new denim silhouette on the block: the A-line denim maxi skirt. Perfect for giving you the illusion of endless legs and streamlined hips, it’ll be your new go-to this year. With a high-waisted design that flares gently from the hip, this patchwork denim skirt works perfectly over knee-high boots and even your favourite trainers for dress-down days. Team with your favourite knitwear: tuck in a slim-fitting ribbed polo or drape a relaxed cardigan, like this grey V-neck, over the top. Make it a double with a denim shirt (choose a slightly different wash for contrast) and sharpen up with court shoes for an enviably chic workwear vibe. A pop of red lipstick adds the final flourish.
