Completely different to the blue!!
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
Bought these online, having bought the mid blue in the shop. Absolutely love the blue - loose leg fit and really comfortable for me - a nice style. These black ones (faded grey) are completely different jeans, totally different fit, narrow waist and much narrower leg. Look like any “average” cheap jeans I could buy in a supermarket. Cannot understand how these are being sold as the same jeans.

I haven’t worn these yet. I love the fit and they seem comfortable. I think they are quite adaptable to wear with jumpers or T-shirts. I hope they wash okay.

Poor quality

No, I don't recommend this
I was pleased with size and fit of these jeans and bought 2 pairs however after wearing and washing a handful of times the seams are coming away at the pockets, poor quality. Tried to return online but had them for over 35 days so would need to take them to store to be "assessed" not worth the bother just won't buy M&S jeans again.

Excellent buy

Yes, I recommend this
Have been looking for a pair of black jeans and having bought a white pair in this style earlier in the year, I have found them to be comfortable, flattering, long enough and stylish. I can also choose to wear them at either ankle grazing or full length.

Life of a jeans shopper …..
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
Found the sizing of M&S jeans difficult this year. Have always been a size 12, but the waists have got very skinny, just bought a size 14 for the waist size but as i am wearing them and washing them and the dressing is dressing is diminishing, the waist still fits ok but the backside an back of the legs are feeling flappy and too bit. I will persevere M&S jeans, but could we return to the old size template. Maybe the problem has resulted from the high waisted fashion of previous times, something has gone wonky

Different shape from original boyfriend jeans

These jeans are nothing like the boyfriend jeans I previously bought from M&S. These jeans get wider and wider towards the hem, rather than tapering inwards The fit generally also is poorer.

Great cut and fabric-look more expensive than they were. Bought Long as 178cm tall but thought they could have been slightly longer.

Lovely pair of jeans

Got the dark blue which are a lovely fit decided to buy the black (which are actually like a faded grey) the sizing was totally different much too small and looked a completely different jeans. You need to sort these sizings out M&S as you are losing sales

The quality of these jeans is just awful, very heavy and although I have M&S Jeans in the wardrobe, the same size, these were far too small, what is happening to the sizing of M&S trousers? I had to return them.

I bought these as recommended by Emma Hill. They do not disappoint. Great fit, really comfortable and great style. Can’t wait to buy more in other colours.

Sizing issues
No, I don't recommend this
Trousers are disappointing as the sizing is so variable .I originally purchased a size 12 and they were perfect so decided to get a second pair on line .I ordered the same size but when they arrived were smaller than the 12 and had to replace them with a larger size. This is so disappointing because m& s was always a perfect fit no matter what you were purchasing ….. now buying on line is not worth the time as you must try things on as all sizes vary despite being sold as the same size .This is happening more frequently in all trousers for sale.

Not Black!

Bought a pair of these jeans online in black. Let me tell you now they are NOT black! At a push they are a darkish grey. Also struggled to undo button on waistband as the buttonhole too small and the zip doesn't run too smoothe. That said I will keep them as once got into them (made buttonhole bigger and ran bit of vaseline over the zip} they are very comfortable, a good weight denim and nice quality - will be use for work during the winter. Just disappointed not a true black

I haven’t had such a perfect fitted pair for Jeans for a long time. I’m 5’6 tall, length & waist perfect, no adjustment required. I bought long.

I bought these jeans firstly in dark indigo. They are perfect, love them so bought the second pair in black. Supposedly same size. I was very disappointed to find they were quite a lot smaller , nothing like the fit of the dark indigo , so I returned them. I then tried the light cream and same again supposedly the same size but way too small. What’s happening? Surely they should all fit the same whatever the colour! I even tried the next size up and they were way too big.very disappointed.

Hi, love the boyfriend jeans - nice weight denim, not too stretchy, but the waist buttonhole very stiff and difficult to undo because the material is so thick!

Both pairs are size 12 petite…!? Not sure who is managing quality control. Have re-ordered including next size up.
