Black Textured Modern Slim Fit Jacket

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to leave one for this suit! Really impressed and really happy with my purchase. Needed a dinner suit for an anniversary dinner and wanted to get a 'proper' dinner suit to add to my slowly growing collect of "nice suits". I often have a difficult time getting suits that fit correctly. I'm 6'2 and often have to get a suit that fits OK and then alter them afterwards but everything fits amazingly well with this suit, straight off the hangers - which I thought wasn't possible. I'm usually between 40 and 42 chest, and normally either the 40 is too small or 42 is too big. I went with a 42 to be more comfortable, but the "modern slim" fit totally pulls it in line. The lapels are not as shiny as they could be - but it is still obvious it's a dinner jacket and not just a black jacket. The trousers fit perfectly. I'm usually between 34 waist and 36 waist - I went with 36L and the fit is fantastic. It looks modern and stylish without looking like I'm desperately trying to be a Topman model! The quality of the material seems good - not excellent but what can you expect for £99. Easily the best £99 I've spent on clothing. Its just a shame that I wont get to wear it more than once a year.

the jacket is fine - but i wanted to buy the trousers and couldnt find them on the site also the shirt and bow tie are sold separately and are expemsive against other high street outlets

Husband lost a bit of weight and this is a perfect jacket for the special occasions we attend.

I bought this suit for my prom earlier this year, the quality was really good, the fit was brilliant and was complimented on it by friends and family. Certainly, had the glam secret agent feel to it. So glad I chose it, made my prom a success, it will certainly last me a while. A good first suit at a great price.

Can't go wrong with the slim fit for my son's school ball. M&S need to make more of these slim fit suits, i struggled to get hold of a dinner suit after nothing available on line in his size or in a number of the larger stores. Went up a size as my son is only 17, still looked good with room to grow for next year.

The blazer is both stylish and comfortable, the fit is perfect as it is slim but not too tight. The quality is very good, but I feel the lapels are not as shiny as that shown as in the pictures so is not what i'd consider a true dinner jacket, but rather just a very nice plain black stylish blazer. Would still recommend this as a great purchase.
