What has happened to these nail files? They used to be the best you could buy but these are so coarse. They are much too rough and drag on the nails. It’s so annoying when a great product suddenly gets changed. Please go back to the original.

Both sides are quite coarse, I prefer emery boards with one coarse and one fine side

Up until recently M&S made the best emery boards ever-they were fantastic for self manicures. The supplier must have changed as now they are so coarse you cannot use them on natural nails. Please, please bring the old ones back! Definitely would not recommend these new ones and I have had to resort to an alternative supplier who are nowhere near as good as the M&S originals.

These used to be excellent emery boards, but they have now changed so dramatically that as I began my manicure I thought, by mistake, I had bought files for artificial nails! Whereas, previous M&S boards had one side for gentle shaping, the reverse for a more radical manicure. Now, both sides are harsh and can quickly damage the nails. Although I have never worn artificial nails, I imagine these emery boards would be ideal. Why, why, M&S did you change suppliers? Secondly, and more importantly why did no one in quality control realise these are definitely not suitable for natural nails? Please discontinue these and find a manufacturer who understands how nails should be treated.

I agree with a previous reviewer - these emery boards have changed, and for the worse. They are so harsh now that my nails are in a mess.

Really good product, providing a choice of two surfaces which are perfect for nail filing. Good price too. Would recommend.

This product seems to have changed since the last time I purchased it. Earlier versions had one side fine emery &the other slightly coarser..this latest version has both sides very rough ..made my nails very uneven ..would not buy again!! Very disappointed.

Long-lasting emery boards, which are easy to use and give great results. They really should be listed on the M&s website next to the Miracle Buffers for an easy product search.

At first glance, I was pleased with these emery boards and they filed my nails nicely. Unfortunately, after filing 3 of my nails, the emery board began to fall apart. The emery sheet came away from the wood stick. Same thing with the other 2. Had to throw away as they became unusable. Very disappointing for the price.
