A-Line Midi Skirt

Provided you don't mind the material being see thru it's a delightful little summer skirt. Has 2" elasticated waistband and tiered skirting, if you either hang it up to drip dry or roll it lengthways in a warmed towel to dry there's no need to iron it, perfect. Teams well with t-shirts or short length blouses. If you're brave you could also use the skirt as a strapless short dress, I have (only those with bust should try this for obvious reasons). A very useful item which is ideal for every day wear. Looks good with a tee shirt or blouse and great if you are not sure what the weather is doing. Khaki is a lovely shade and slightly out of the ordinary. I was so impressed I then went and purchased the same item in black.

Finally some midi skirts in the style I love. I have bought both colours and wish other colours could be introduced. The only thing I wish M&S would do is to have some sort of lining in the skirt as in the sunlight it is completely see through. In the past their skirts were always lined and I would be prepared to pay more if they were lined. All in all I love the skirt and the elasticated waist makes it really comfortable. Perrfect calf length as I am 5ft 1.

Despite the description as “midi” this skirt barely covered my knees. Far too short so had to be returned. I’m 5’9”. Would be better to have a range of lengths available.

I bought this skirt in black and liked it so much that I ordered the kaki as well although I would have really liked it in white. All the other white skirts in store at the moment are too long or too fussy. Please Marks arrange for this skirt in white before the end of the summer. It sits close to the body without being clingy and it is very comfortable. MORE PLEASE.

I hoped this skirt would be exactly what I was looking for as reviews were good. Unfortunately it only came to my knees, also it came up big on me. Such a shame as the colour was lovely and the material wasn't creased. Sadly I had to return, my search goes on.

Loved the skirt it doesn't crease on packing is a good length and the elastic waist means I could size down. A great holiday item and can use with a multitude of tops. One of the better items in the current m&s range which has so many "mini" length dresses and skirts.

I really like this skirt. It is not my usual style, but it fits nicely and looks quite slimming. I read other reviews for this skirt and noted that it was on the big size, so bought a size smaller, which fits well. It is a nice light weight for the holidays, pity they don’t make in a nice shade of blue. It is extremely good value for money.

I loved this skirt and decided to keep, however I tried it on again and it dips at the front and back quite badly in the middle and makes it look really odd and now I've noticed I can't stop seeing/looking at it! I'm sure it's to do with the tiers, I've measured them and they seem the same depth in each section but I've never been a dressmaker so I maybe I'm totally wrong. Fortunately I hadn't removed the labels so will return and have reordered.

I’ve been wanting a tiered skirt for some months but as i’m not tall all of those for sale are floor length at least.and I cannot be bothered altering the length any more.This one is perfect for my height. The fabric does not look creased after wearing, which is a plus when travelling. I’m not that excited about the colours available unfortunately. The patterned one, animal print, is rather drab for spring and summer, I feel. As it fits well I have kept it and i’m hoping I can find some matching tee shirts to liven it up. I have also bought the black one which can be worn with brighter tops/vests. Some summer colours would be good M&S.
