Compact. Digits are easily read. Good size plate to put ingredients in.

I must admit that I purchased these scales solely based on their looks. I have many other creamed coloured, retro-styled kitchen equipment, and I thought these would match perfectly. They do! The scales are small and charming and if I ever need to actually weigh anything, rather than just pretend I do, I am sure these will work like a treat. I have tested them and the are working. They were easy to put together + I was happy to get them at discount. Please, please continue on with the vintage/retro products for those of us who are left cold by modernity.

Bought these scales today - When you open the box you have to screw in the part for holding the silver weighing bowl - this leaves you with 2 redundant washers - I like the look of the scales but I would have preferred a measurement in grams. Unfortunately these scales don't sit flat - they wobble - so I am extremely annoyed - especially as they are not cheap at £25. Will be returning them tomorrow.

Placed an online order and opened it today. Needed a screwdriver to unpack it. Felt like a heavy, quality item. But when finally set up the black dial at the back with alters the hand to be on zero did nothing. Think there’s another reviewer with the same complaint. I read them all and thought hers was a one off. But it seems there’s a bad batch! Very disappointed. I won’t be replacing it as feel if it’s like a at the beginning I don’t trust the next one won’t be the same or break shortly after using it.

Bought the retro scales online, looked good but the black button on the back of the scale to adjust the weight level was faulty, so had to send them back. Did read the reviews they all looked good but realised, one of them was a problem just like mine and it was this year.

The scales were poor quality - they look better than they are. more importantly though they didn't work and had to be returned. The pointers were stuck and didn't move when the bowl was added.
