Ok but not entirely satisfied. Expensive .

No, I don't recommend this

The shirt unsticks frequently from the bottom up and my son is complaining . Also I searched online and the product I thought I was buying was one with top 3 buttons with Velcro ; not the entire opening.

These shirts are perfect for my disabled son, enabling him to have some independence when dressing. They wash well and the velcro works as well as velcro ever does! Make sure you wash them with the velcro stuck together to avoid it sticking to other items. My son is a well built teenager, the only downside for me is that he he"s now in the largest size and so will be unable to have them next year.

Velcro poor quality

Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)

No, I don't recommend this

I buy these shirts for my son who is autistic and struggles with buttons. Initially they were fab and took away the stress for him especially for p.e days. However this is now the 3rd pack weve had in 1 school term due to the velcro not lasting, losing its stick, causing my son additional stress as every time he moves/sits they just peel open. The shirt itself is fine but the velcro needs improvement.

Still hard to do up

Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)

Yes, I recommend this

My son still struggles with this top (particularly when trying to dress quickly after PE) as the Velcro comes completely apart. Trying to align the Velcro exactly and look smart is complicated when you have the physical disability that makes doing up buttons a struggle.

My autistic child finds these much easier to cope with than normal shirts, and they look just like the normal ones. Much more affordable than some of the other options, very thankful for M&S!

should be labelled 'velcro fastening'

Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)

No, I don't recommend this

I accidentally bought the 'velcro' fastening shirts for my son aged 15. I think you should label the shirts as 'velcro fastening' rather than 'easy dressing' since i clearly didn;t realise what i was buying until my son put them on! really disappointed.

These shirts are wonderful. My son has sensory issues and dyspraxia. As a result, he has difficulty button and unbutton. These shirts have been an answer to our prayers. He no longer stresses about PE days and struggling to get dressed / undressed. Additionally, the cotton is super soft and comfortable. Well done M&S .
