3 in 1 Waterproof Jacket

I have been looking for a weather proof jacket that fits at M&S for the last couple of years and I've finally found it. Recently the sleeves have been too long and the hood too big. This is a good fit for me. Its great that it has a detachable fleece (sleeves on that are too long tho) for flexibility. The waterproofing seems fine but it is not very breathable which was what I was looking for too. I bought the kaki colour in the sale as I feel that £99 is way too pricey for a jacket that is not breathable but I would have preferred the navy.

I bought this jacket for a cycling holiday in Austria in April, when it could be cool or warm, and wet or dry, hence the need for a waterproof fabric. I bought 2 sizes in case it is very cold and I need to add another layer. I hope that they will last me for many years. I have done a test run in cold, windy, rainy weather and it passed the test. It was warm and the rain didn't penetrate it. I would have like to have a zipped pocket at chest height near the zip on the outside, in which to carry money and key. Years ago I had a similar style jacked and it had such a pocket which was very useful.

I read the reviews and decided that because I’m so tiny the jacket would fit perfectly which it did. Was out in heavy rain and it was completely waterproof. It fits beautifully and looks trim and not bulky. The fleece sleeve does come down a bit when you put the jacket on but is easy to push back. Love the Velcro on the sleeve as sleeves are always too long for me.

I ordered this in izes 18 and 20. I'm usually an 18, but that was definitely too small to wear with a thinnish jumper, so I've kept the 20. Very well made, warm with the inner jacket fitted (haven't worn it without)Very definitely waterproof and windproof (it's been well tested on both counts over the last few days!) I like the fact that the hood zips on, is removable and can be foled into the collar - though the collar is very bulky when you do this. Also the hood is big - good if you're wearing a bobble hat but it comes over my eyes if I'm not, and I have to fold the peak back. Although it's a jacket rather than I coat, I feel it should have been about 3" longer (and I'm only 5"2") and I would have preferred the inner fleece to have been a bit darker (it's a very pale grey) But all in all I'm very satisfied with it and would definitely recommend it.

This item was well styled and the quality good. For the winter it had a good removable lining but the arms of this were much too long and you had to wriggle about to get them the same length of the waterproof jacket sleeve. However, the jacket itself was much too short for the inclement weather for which it was designed. A mid thigh length or even to just above the knee would be so much more practicable and for this reason I will probably be returning the garment. A great disappointment because it was just what I wanted.

Very warm and waterproof. I went for the green colour and the lime fleece lining contrasts very nicely with the outer section of the coat.

The fit of this was not as expected. The front is very short even though I am less than average height. The overall size didn’t seem to take into account the extra size required when wearing the 2 jackets together.

The jacket itself is quite thin but with the fleece inner jacket would be useful for cool, not cold, weather. More of a spring jacket as on the short side. Unfortunately had to return as the sleeves on the size 12 were too short and expect that the size 14 would be too full in the body.

Love this jacket I bought it mainly for walking my dog and with the hood I am ready for all weathers. The fleece lining is also a separate jacket for milder weather which then makes the outer jacket ok for milder damp days too. Two for the price of one!

The article was exactly as I expected, apart from the fact that I found it a little short in length, not really covering my bottom which would not be good in bad weather. The cut was flattering but the neckline design was bulky and uncomfortable and too high.

It was just what I thought I was looking for and it fitted perfectly but sadly it needed to be a minimum of 4 inches longer

This jacket is very short considering that it is waterproof & made for rain. It was only as long as the top of my legs & I am not exceptionally tall. (5ft 6ins) Unfortunately, I returned it as it is not fit for purpose.

Lightweight and can be worn with or without lining. The fleece is better not attached by zip and sleeve tabs as they make it a bit tricky to get on and off. Nice feature that hood is detachable or can be rolled up in collar. Generous enough fit to wear with light jumper and fleece.
