These warm cotton-blend vests are perfect for when the temperature drops. Thermal design with a two-star tog value, for a lightweight, breathable finish that still keeps the chill out. Short-sleeved style with a ribbed finish, plus a pretty frill trim and bow detail at the round neck. We only ever use responsibly sourced cotton for our clothes.

I bought these for my Granddaughter, good quality. Although my Granddaughter is only 8 and not big I bought the larger size 11/12 so they would last, they fit perfectly, so think they do come up small.

Although the girls top is very pretty with the lace and bow detail, I also ordered the boys version in the same size and preferred the latter. This is because the boys version had a bit more stretch in them. Also the lace may itch some kids if they are sensitive whereas the boys version has a lovely smooth collar. And as it is worn under a jumper, the bow detail isn’t going to be seen anyway. Both versions were super soft and kept my little one warm so I understand on this occasion, my comments are very subjective and simply personal preference.

I purchase these as my daughter grows. She’s worn them since reception and is now in Year 7. She’s actually been wearing the age 8-9 despite being 11 but they were a snug fit. Just purchased the 11/12 and plenty of growing room. She loves the fluffy ness when there new.

I bought these vests for my son, having searched on M & S website for ‘kids thermal vests’ and this is what came up. When I received them, I saw they featured little bows and a lace neckline - nine if this was visible in unclear photo online. I’ve had to send them back and order the boys version / again, not clearly described. Wouldn’t it be better just to make plain, unisex kids’ vests? It would’ve saved me £3.50 in unnecessary additional postage!
