About this style

I was looking for an outfit for my grandson who was quickly outgrowing everything. I was struggling to find anything because of the Covid-19 lockdown and was so pleased to find this on M&S website. Lovely subtle yellow strip top which is nice and soft but feels durable too. The blue pants go with it perfectly.

I bought this in size 18-24 months. It is a super, soft and cosy outfit; we especially like the lion with his textured mane. But, the trousers are absolutely enormous for an 18-24 month old! They are far too big for my 18-month old and he’s not short! I’d say they are more suitable for a 2-3 year old. I have another pair of trousers from M&S for the same age range and these are about two inches longer. A bit of a sizing issue here....

I can’t say about size and whether it washes well yet as I bought 2 sizes for him. Mum chose the larger size 9 to 12 months rather the the 6 to 9. So he needs to grow into it rather than only just fit for now. We both loved the style of the little trousers and the colour of the top but most of all loved the lion. She was really pleased with it so let’s hope it washes and wears to the standard of the label. Quality when new is good and the price too.
