Why change the fit? First time in 25years I will have to shop for shirts elsewhere. New improved fit it certainly isn’t: too tight across the shoulders and too tight on the arms. Such a shame.

Have been buying these and similar shirts for my husband for years but something has gone very wrong with the styling. The sleeves just don’t sit correctly anymore and are too narrow for the arms. Everything else fits but it’s as though there has been an attempt to reduce the amount of fabric used and as a result the sleeves are just too tight for the shirts to be worn comfortably. This is not just on these shirts but across the range of casual shirts for the last couple of years. It has also been noticed by other colleagues etc making it difficult to know where to find properly made men’s summer shirts at a good price.

This is not and 18 1/2. I have other M&S shirts that are 18 1/2 and for this brand you would need a 19, which defeats the object of sizing

The product title along with the guide image give no indication that the product is short sleeved. Whilst the style is noted in the full description text later on it's not obvious to those reviewing items in the cart. The product quality is good.
