Awful

Front is ok on this - the elasticated back, not so. Makes you look a bit butch. Very thin material - top part at back is really a vent open to elements.

Not sure that you can call it a jacket!

I didn’t need to try this jacket on as soon as I opened up the delivery you could see it was extremely thin and material was very silky. Not sure if it was a blouse but definitely not a jacket!!

Very thin material, no pockets and not waterproof made this jacket not very appealing so it was returned to the store.

Fits well over running top. Unfortunately due to weather I have not yet tested it on a run.

Disappointing

Could not believe just how flimsy this jacket is - had expected it to be lightweight but was reminded of old fashioned 'parachute' silk as it billowed out of the packaging, also full of static and very creased. The sizing is ok but the price seems expensive to me for the type of garment it is. Sorry to say I will be returning it due to disappointment.

Zip stuck

Felt nice to touch, very lightweight and would have folded small into a bag, but, as soon as I tried it on and did the zip up it became stuck onto an opposite piece of fabric, and I coudn't release it so had to return. Also, I dont think it had pockets. Didn't want to exchange 'cos would be worried about zip. I had to click whether it was durable or not to submit, but I dont actually know. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't!

I would agree with some reviews that it should be waterproof I bought a similar jacket for my husband which is waterproof . However it was more expensive. You get what it says on the label showerproof. Also I would like to see it in more colours. I would say the fit is generous which I prefer also more is a boxy style better for me. It rolls up easily in a bag so good for hols

Perfect For Under Gilet

I have a lovely gilet which has been hanging around for years, hardly worn, because I didn't have anything to keep my arms warm. As soon as I saw this, I knew it would be perfect. A jumper, this jacket and my gilet, looks good, gives me a hood, and will be coming on holiday with me. Thanks M&S, if you bring this out in some nice summer colours, I will buy another.

Very pleased, I wanted a thin jacket as get too hot in padded coats. I would suggest sizing up so you can wear layers underneath. Very lightweight, soft silky fabric. I dont overheat in it. I like it because after looking at lots of raincoats on "outdoor" websites and being bewildered by the choice and cost, this one it just what i need, plain and a good price. I would just like an extra inch or two in length.

Perfect for walking which I do a lot of, nice and light weight yet keeps wind out. Can vary what you wear underneath depending on outside temperatures.

Nice material. Have not used it in heavy rain yet but comfortable to wear. No sweating as in a similar jacket I own. Looks good on and true to size. Great for travel as so light. Reasonable price. Not a warm jacket - need a jumper on colder days.

Hey M&S, how about doing this jacket in a few more colours!! This is a fantastic, light jacket which I wear every day whilst out walking. I love the fact that it doesn’t make you sweat. Love the way he zip goes right up high at the neck. Nice roomy hood. The elasticated back gives this jacket a nice tidy fit and the length at the back covers all your bits. Fantastic jacket.

I bought this to roll up and put in my rucksack for when the weather gets a bit cool. It is inexpensive so ideal for days out in the countryside as an extra layer and it is very lightweight so easily carried. You do need a layer underneath it as there is no lining but it does have a couple of pockets. I doubt it would stop any rain.

I am giving this jacket no marks for quality because it had none, you could see daylight when you held it up to the light, sorry marks but you need to up your quality control

I wanted something lightweight but this is positively flimsy. A cheap pacamac would work better as at least it would be water proof too. This is really overpriced and the material is shocking.

The best thing about this jacket is the material. It's really silky and super light, so when it's on it feels very airy and a little bit luxurious. Not sure how weatherproof it is, but who cares. Nice zipped pockets at the front too. A success!
