Mum now 90 & suffers from swollen feet. Finds it difficult to get shoes on but found these easy to get on but also supportive.

These shoes were just what I was looking for , described as a wide fit and comfortable etc . Unfortunately , as soon as they arrived and I saw the narrow pointed toe I knew these would be unsuitable . I take an 8 wide in Hotters brougues and John Lewis shoes I don't think these shoes should come under the description of 'wide' . They are lovely shoes .

My third pair ordered

I am usually a size 5 - 5.5, and ordered a 5.5 as the only ones in stock, they were huge, returned them and managed to order a 5, they were like boats the right foot had obviously been tried on in store and both shoes looked worn which i was not impressed with. I then ordered a 4.5 but these were too tight. I believe a new pair of size 5's would have been perfect however not taking the chance in case i get the same 'worn' pair, such a shame as lovely shoes :(

.. but unfortunately had to return. The wide fit was too wide and the shoes slipped off my heel when walking. Would have been perfect in a standard fit.

Stylish But Poor Quality Loafer

Bought a pair of these loafers on a Tuesday, wore them on the Wednesday and returned them on the Thursday. After one day worn to work (spent mostly sitting down NOT on my feet) the insides of both shoes were flaking at various places were my toes had been. Very poor quality and £45 is not a cheap pair of shoes. They are also ill fitting shoes - do not waste your money.

I bought these shoes the other day for school, they're really comfy and perfect for school as they're leather too. I bought a 6 but they were a bit big for me so I returned them and got a 5.5, they're perfect for school now.

I think these shoes are really stylish looking, but unfortunately I have had to return two pairs! After just a a day of wearing the first pair, the stitching at the front of the shoe had split. The same issue occurred with the second pair after less than two months, which makes me think the shoe is just poorly made. I don't think I owned them long enough to wear them in, so they were very stiff and uncomfortable and caused me to have bad blisters on my heels. A real shame.

These shoes were comfortable and fitted well but there was no getting away from the cheap look, plastic wood effect heel. returned for a refund unfortunately

Look nice, but don't think I would recommend. Take a long time to break in and hurt your feet if wearing for a long period of time.

Still looking for a loafer

Was pleased to find a loafer in a wide fit, unfortunately these were cut to shallow on the front and cut across the widest part of my foot. These were returned and I am still looking. I normally find Marks shoes really comfortable and not had a problem with fit, not in this case. They were a lovely quality and the leather was good as well.

I had to ask for an exchange as there was glue in the inside right shoe, which torn my tights when I took it off. They are quite expensive for work shoes, but looks nice. As for comfort, they need to be worn in a bit. Hopefully they will get more comfortable soon as I am standing all the time.

Wide fit leather loafer

Such a shame about these loafers, they looked impressive when they arrived but when trying them on realised they certainly are not wide fit, they are narrow and rigid, especially at the back by the heel, sadly they went back.

Comfy loafers but a bit big

I'm in the unfortunate position that I have one foot bigger than the other by a half size! Annoying? Yes. Usually I get away with by wearing an insole in the shoe for the smaller foot. But as other people have said these loafers do come up a bit big. I need to wear insoles with both or wear socks. They would probably be alright for me in a standard width fitting, but the wide fit makes them a bit too generous, sadly M&S don't do these in standard width. Normally a 4.5 in M&S shoes fit me perfectly. This said they are comfortable, smart shoes. I'll be keeping them because I like them and I'm happy to wear socks or insoles with them. I know the smaller size would be too small for me as my biggest foot fits these snugly length-wise. So, in all, nice shoes. If you don't have odd feet then I suggest going for a half size smaller than normal (unless you have wide feet). Suggestion: Please do these in a standard fitting.

Returned sadly as not a wide fit at all. I haven't had this problem before with thus make. Can't recommend unless you have a very narrow foot.

Have always been a size 5(wide fit), so when I bought these online I thought they'd be ideal, but sadly they were too big, on returning them into store I tried on a size 4 1/2 which were a good fit. So I won't be purchasing shoes online again.
