Bought as wide fit available. Nice fit and husband says comfortable. Not worn yet as for a wedding. I am reserving judgement re the leather - it’s not extremely soft so I’m worried it might “crack”, but I may be wrong. Certainly better leather than you might get in some other chain stores.

I ordered a size 8, which I would normally use. The shoes were far too big. Easily changed for a 7. Still too big, but purchased heel inserts which may resolve the issue. Shoe sizes are quite misleading.

I can't believe I selected the wrong size for a pair of broad fit leather brogues in black. It's only when I received the shoes a few days later that I realized I had selected the wrong size. I had wrongly selected a size 12 instead of a size 10. Undeterred I wrapped them up again, printed a returns label and tomorrow I will drop them off at my local Royal Mail parcels office. The lesson here is 'Always check you have selected the correct size' Thanks M&S. Harry London

The ordering and collection of these shoes were great. However, they are very hard and rigid and have cut into my husband's ankle, leaving him with a nasty wound. They were only worn for a few hours for a funeral.

These are hard wearing. This is the second pair my son has had. He walks a lot for work and these hold up wonderfully. They're fantastically made, smart and well worth the money. The wide fit is also a blessing.
