Wedge Heel Almond Toe Espadrilles

Bought these yesterday - tried them on in the store but when I got home and actually walked around in them..as the reviews say, far too big...huge...not sure what to do as I really like the style and dont think going down a size will be the answer. There is something weird going on because my foot keeps slipping up and down and the ankle straps are far too narrow for comfort...maybe an inner sole is the answer..but I am very disappointed with these shoes. But I fear they will have to be returned..

I really liked the look of these espadrilles and tried to purchase them several times online but they did not have the size I wanted. As previous reviews stated that they are big, I wanted a size 4 as I am a size 5. I eventually managed to order them and I am really pleased. They fit nicely and are a nice height. When I first put them on, they pinched my toes, but the more I have worn them, this has gone. I agree that they are very big and you do need to go down a whole size. The only downside is that the material on the heel, where it joins with the black part of the shoe, is slightly uneven on the right shoe, and as I have narrow feet there aren't enough eyelets to fasten the shoes more securely. However they look lovely, and are comfortable. I would definitely recommend them.

Lovely shoes, just what I was looking for. Took advice of other reviewers & went down half a size from my last M&S shoes. A slightly wide fit but perfect for me.

Loved them especially the colour just what I wanted. Normally I’m a size 4 but even size 3 was too big so unfortunately have had to return them.

Unfortunately the fit of these was not good. As with many shoes from M&S recently the front part of the shoes is too loose which suggests they are made for wide fitting although they are not supposed to be wide fitting. Don't understand why the sizing has become so bad. Loved the colour of these and had they fitted properly I would definitely have kept these.

The fit of the shoes were spot on for size 5, and I have a wide foot and high instep, but the problem was the wedged heel was so heavy and pulled on the ankle strap I found them hard to walk in just up and down the kitchen. I really love the style and colour of the shoes but sadly have returned them.

Well made fab colour for summer. Comfortable considering they are high. Look like they will be good quality too. Looking forward to wearing lots over the summer, with jeans or skirts .

These look great and are comfortable but as others have mentioned the sizing is generous. I bought half a size smaller than I normally would and they still have a bit of room but I'm keeping as I like them

As most others have said, these run very big. I am usually a 6 but ordered a 5.5 based on other reviews, these are still slightly too large but the 5 is too tight across the front of my foot (I have wide feet!) so will be keeping the 5.5. Great style and absolute bargain for the price.

my shoes are fab and everyone loves them. Fit is amazing as i have wide but small feet. Love the colour too! Arrived a day earlier than expected.

I read the reviews - yes the sizing is up the creak - got 5 and 5.5 and neither fitted me - disappointed as really like them.

Loved the bright orange but as per other reviews these are big, go down at least a size. I found the fit to be poor with the elastic on the buckle at full stretch and feared they may break so I returned the shoes, shame as they looked stylish.

I ordered a 5 1/2 they were true to size and so comfy, have had lots of compliments. Value for money much better than other espadrilles I have had in the past. Would recommend.
