This coast was perfect for my daughter she didn't even have it for 2 weeks but because of poor quality I've already returned the coat as the stitching and material on the wrist of the sleeve tore apart with no force just because of poor manufacturing. I hoping it was a one off and low quality one mixed in with the rest but disappointed to say the least. Will get another and fingers x this was a one off

Warm jacket - poor quality

I purchased this jacket for my 18 month old -- the fit, like much of M&S branded things, is a little big on her, which is what I wanted. In under a week there was a tear in the lining under her armpit. The padding is exposed and the rain resistance is now compromised. This is the first time I've had an issue with M&S products damaging so quickly. I'm quite disappointed.

I bought this coat for my grandaughter and she loved it. It is nice and thick to keep her warm and it has gloves attached so she won't lose them. She loved the unicorn pattern too.

I bought this lovely coat for my 4 year old granddaughter who absolutely loves it. It’s warm therefore she doesn’t need many layers underneath making it really comfortable for her. She loves the gloves which she can put on and take off as she pleases. It’s been washed a few times and still looks like new. Of course she loves the red gold unicorns!

This jacket is ok, survived heavy downpours last week, kept my daughter dry plus bonus points for the attached gloves, very handy for scootering in the cold. I bought it with 20% off. My girl is 3 years old, 106 cm tall, average build and thanks for the previous reviews I went size up-4-5y, fits her perfect, length just bellow bottom. Unfortunately the hood is not great, it’s ok for now but snuggly and kinda pulling the back of the jacket. I haven’t washed it yet so can’t comment if unicorn print will survive. If buying, check it in store first!

This coat split apart at the seams in multiple places after two weeks, a beautiful looking coat but the quality was terrible.

The moment i put this on it looked super beautiful, I ordered a size 4-5 for my 3 and half year old and it's not too baggy as it leaves plenty of room for layers and for her to grow into it. I haven't washed it yet so I can comment on that

My 4 year old granddaughter loves her new coat. The unicorns pattern on the coats dark material glows and shines beautifully. The faux fur trim is really soft and cosy and perfect for the colder weather. There are no more problems getting her to put on her coat... she wants to wear it all the time!

My daughter loves this jacket is fluffy soft and warm. Appreciate the unicorn pattern and dark navy colour. Win win for my girl and me. We paid normal price but still it seems to be a bargain for what it is. I haven’t washed it yet though. Sizing : my girls is 3.5 years old and we bought 4-5years, fits great with lots of room possibly for beginning of next year winter. Would say it’s what I am expecting from M&S sizes compare to what we bought before.

Very small hood

Lovely quality coat and cute design very warm from all of the padding.Just a shame that the hood is too small. My daughter is a very small age 4 (in 3-4 for majority of her clothes) so choose the 4-5 for fit over school uniform, winter clothes etc. After a couple of weeks of use with all the rain we’ve been having we’ve noticed the hood seems really small compared to the rest of the coat, with all the rain we’ve had, she ends up soaked- bit impractical if you want a coat thats going to keep your little one dry and warm. Please check hood size before taking off the tag!Never had an issue before with M&S winter coats always brought from here-but I’ll now be looking elsewhere!

A really cosy feeling coat, with matching warm mittens which are attached to the coat with buttons which keeps stress from lost gloves to a minimum! I found the sizing perfect. My daughter normally wears a 3-4, but I wanted something with growing room, and the next size up, 4-5, provided exactly that. A perfect choice for nursery where large amounts of the day are spent outside.
