Great design but Poor quality

Loved the design - just what I wanted to go with my existing plates from a well-known supermarket, however after less than weeks of very light wear (by myself only) and careful hand washing-up, 2 out of the 4 plates I purchased have already chipped around the edge. The latest chip occurred literally as I picked the plate up to use! Not impressed with this sort of quality from M&S.
