Cup size is good, however the straps are uncomfortable, they do not stay flat. If you have large heavy breast you need more support than this bra provides.

I have been buying this style of M&S bra for years and have never been disappointed in the fit and comfort , I like that M&S have started to introduce colours other than the basic white, black and beige. My one criticism is that matching knickers are rarely offered to match. I just purchased the dusted mint option of this bra and to get one pair of matching knickers I had to buy a mixed colour pack of 5 that only had one in the matching colour. The other 4 pairs don’t match any of the colour option in this bra,

I bought two bras, one white and one black, with a cup size difference, though band width the same (radiotherapy has resulted in continuing changes in size). The black one I tried on first, beautiful firm fabric, good quality elastic and four hook and eye fastenings. Great.The white one, possibly from a different manufacturer?, lighter weight fabric, softer, looser elasticity on the straps, and three hook and eye fastenings - a poor relation to the other. Most peculiar.

For the past 50+ years I have worn underwired but decided that I would try a softer bra for more comfort. I am big so was pleased that this bra was offered in larger sizes. It’s comfortable, supportive and the straps stay put on my rather round shoulders so, for me, this is the perfect bra. Have bought four!

Assistant put in a lot of work to find the right size for me. The bra was ordered in. Very pleased to leave the shop wearing it but noticed as the day went on that the adjusters on the straps had slid down so appearance of chest dropped. Washed and tried again. Very difficult to get the bra fastened despite trying a few methods. Again adjusters slid and wouldn’t stay in place. Don’t think this was the perfect fit for me and disappointed the adjusters wouldn’t stay in place.

These are totally unreliable in size now. The previous two I ordered were not the same and I'd put that down to a one-off glitch but was disappointed to find the recent ones were also inconsistent. Both were ordered same size but both were small and with one the band was so short it won't even fasten on the widest hooks. It wouldn't even meet across my back ! (And I had double checked my measurements before ordering) Also, the material feels more synthetic and as another reviewer mentioned, the cups seem to have changed shape and are weirdly pointy. I've been buying this style of bra for over a decade now, it was my go-to purchase for comfort and support but if I can't rely on the consistency I'm going to ditch it in favour of another high street bra I've found which is half the price, as well as being lovely material and supportive.

Basic bra suits most shapes and sizes. Good quality firm control bra. A basic in my lingerie drawer since M&S stopped making the one I really prefer.
