About this style

I bought these cropped trousers, which arrived 4days ago. Because they were the last of there style, and M&S haven't had many cropped trousers for sale this year, I decided to accept these. When I tried them on they fitted great, but when I was fastening them I noticed the silver hook that should fit into the silver bar was missing, so being a needlework women with a sewing box, I found a very large snap to attaché to the fastening to keep it together.

Unfortunately these trousers did not fit at all well. The fabric was bunched aroun the waist and too tight on the hips

Bought these in size 6. They did fit but ordered size 8 as comparison. Keeping size 8.. not a huge difference but just a tad more comfortable. I’m 6/8...Xs if that helps. Love the cognac colour will look great with white tops, love the pockets. Length (regular) okay probably come to my ankles (5’2”) Didn’t like the self tie belt so have unpicked & removed.

I am a high street 14 and got the navy in a 14 so fitted well. Firstly the fabric was thicker than I expected but am keeping them for early autumn as they are suitable. Secondly not as wide as expected nor cropped on me at 5’3” and only wear flats. Overall a decent trouser plus got them with a discount but be prepared for the unexpected.

For some reason I hadn’t realised these were cropped, so when I initially opened them I was hesitant to try them on. So glad I did! The fabric is soft, colour such a change from the usual navy or black that you see everywhere & the paper bag waist really adds to the style.

Ordered my usual size and i couldn’t button these trousers, really small sizing, i think i would have had to go up at least 2 sizes which is ridiculous. Really disappointing that M&S sizing is so unpredictable. Needless to say trousers returned and was not prepared to wear a larger size which does nothing for your confidence!!
