Straight Leg Trousers

Very nice trousers a little long pity we no Longer have different leg lengths to choose from.

I've chosen M & S trousers for many years in 12 short, but more recently have a problem with the sizing. So I tried sizes 12 and 14 in these lovely trousers. The 12 is OK on the hips, if a little baggy, but the waist is simply too tight. But the 14 is huge on the hips, whereas the waist is just about tolerable, though a bit tight. My shape has never been out of proportion in the past, as these sizes would suggest. Sadly, neither is for me. So disappointing.

Really pleased with these good quality trousers although they are a little long and will have to shorten them ( pitty there wasn't different lengths) but otherwise a good fit.

A tad on the long side for a 5’3”. But being a straight leg, the flow won’t change by shortening them. Beautiful heavy material, but all seasonal.

The material is good, the wearing is easy. but I still do not understand why those pockets are there.

I bought the trousers one size larger than needed, they fitted perfectly. I recently bought another pair, in my usual size, they fitted perfectly. I long for the days when the size was the size and I'd know what size to buy.
